Key Duties and Responsibilities - The School Nutrition Maintenance is responsible for completing maintenance task assigned by the Cafeteria Manager. Maintenance staff will cooperate with other school nutrition personnel as directed by the manager.

  • Complete school nutrition maintenance requests assigned by Cafeteria Managers or Director.
  • Maintain equipment maintenance logs for the School Nutrition Department.
  • Assist in the cleanup of kitchen and service areas.
  • Unload deliveries and arrange items in the proper place following all HACCP Food Safety Plan Guidelines.
  • Performs major cleaning of refrigerators and storerooms at regularly scheduled intervals designated by the manager.
  • Follows manager's instructions as to storage and disposal of unused food.
  • Assist in cleaning counters, tables and furnishings in the dining area.
  • Maintain the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion.
  • Follow maintenance work schedules
  • Perform related duties as required including duties at special meal functions.
  • Attend relevant training classes and workshops.
  • Maintain high standards of grooming and work habits.
  • Help to make the school nutrition program a success by maintaining a wholesome, positive attitude toward students, teachers, parents and the community.
  • Perform any additional assignments designated by the Superintendent, Director and/or Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Hold or be eligible for required certification.
  • Display positive attitude toward School Nutrition Program.
  • Must be able to read and write.

  • Must be able to properly and consistently supervise students particularly during emergency situations.
  • Must be physically able to perform duties assigned including moderate lifting (at least 50 lbs.), carrying, pushing and pulling, and mopping.
  • Must be able to stand and work for extended periods in varying degrees of temperature and humidity.
  • Must be capable of operating a large variety of equipment.

Qualifications


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance or a related field, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
  • In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, including Part 147 and other relevant standards
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications

**Job Summary:**
The Facilities Maintenance and Systems Specialist (FMSS) reports to the Maintenance Manager but takes daily direction from the Crew Lead. The FMSS supports all facility maintenance and monitoring systems, practices and procedures to ensure all buildings and its equipment are operating optimally and meeting all equipment and client specifications/requirements. Additionally, the FMSS supports the scheduling of preventive and reactive maintenance work for the crew they support. The FMSS also monitors and updates the facility CMMS (Planon) ensuring all Priority 1 and 2 (P1 and P2) work orders are responded to, updated and communicated correctly through TEAMS, Planon, email or phone as required. The FMMS monitors the Building Management System, acknowledging all alarms and ensuring proper response and communication to identify and correct alarms, correcting issues before they impact customer operations. The FMMS will communicate with customer leadership and end users, crew lead and teammates, EMCOR site management and vendors to ensure all applicable personnel are updated on any equipment issues. The FMSS will complete the shift handoff documentation to ensure all open and completed events from their shift are documented and communicated.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
· Monitors Building Management System (BMS) identifying/acknowledging, investigate, dispatch, and escalate any alarms triggered by the system to the crew lead or dedicated crew technician. Update BMS with alarm reconciliation.
· Monitors Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) responding to P1 and P2 work orders per escalation procedure to include timely response, troubleshooting, correction and communication.
· Schedules PM and reactive work orders for all technicians on crew.
· Effectively communicates with customers to provide updates on issues and evaluate service needs, maintain proper scheduling and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction
· Monitors customer buildings to ensure optimum performance standards are being achieved
· Fine tunes systems as new programs and sequences are developed
· Performs building audits and creates WOs within Planon
· Performs equipment start-up, tuning and calibration and commissioning of BMS systems
· Maintains working knowledge of all critical building utilities
· Trigger Corrective Action and Root Cause Analysis. Participate and complete administrative items
· Manage and document completed, and open activities executed on your shift through the shift turnover communication process. Include any known Production downtime, Status of Critical Equipment at end of shift and any spare parts used from stores and any other information required by site leadership.
· Create Presentations as required utilizing Spotfire, Planon, Power Point and any other software identified to help report to customer or internal teammates.
· Any other work identified by Crew Lead, Maintenance Manager or Site Manager to help in the success of the team.
**Qualifications:**
Education
· High School diploma (or equivalent) required, preference given to those with some undergraduate or business school training.
Business Experience
· 3-5 years of experience in facility maintenance industrial or manufacturing environment.
· Experience in BMS/controls industry including systems commissioning, software integration operation, calibration and experience with pneumatic controls a plus.
Licenses/Certifications
· Must possess a valid driver's license
· Technical or maintenance certifications/licenses a plus
Language Skills
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or graphic form. Key elements include the ability to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to send/receive emails and be able to manage an email box. Must be able to operate the work order system.

**What You'll Do**
