- Proven ability to manage complex, high-budget projects with technical precision.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, etc.) and BIM (Building Information Modeling).
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), CCM (Certified Construction Manager), LEED AP, or OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
- Knowledge : Familiarity with science and tech standards and experience with modular or prefabricated construction is advantageous.
Compensation:
The salary range is $145,600 - $218,400 . The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidates knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.

Essential Functions:
Process Development and Optimization
- Lead the development and implementation of scalable, reproducible, and compliant manufacturing processes for sterile and non-sterile compounding.

In this role, you will be a part of the Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, and Semiconductor Science & Technology Buildings team, based in Chicago, IL, North Carolina, California, Texas or New England.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Extensive experience cleanroom environments, cleanroom material specification, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Familiar with Food and Drug Administration guidelines for the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and Pharmacopeia best practices
- Extensive experience with building codes, including International Building Code, NFPA, Life Safety Codes
- Extensive experience with chemical analysis, classification and inventory
- Extensive experience with Industrial and Hazardous building classifications
- Extensive experience with equipment planning, ergonomics, and safety
- Extensive experience in laboratory building environment
- This individual will be responsible for managing the design, production and coordination of projects from our Chicago, IL office for projects nationwide
- The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a dynamic presenter, and be able to effectively manage diverse groups of clients, project stakeholders, and team members
- Experience working with international clients, equipment suppliers, and consultants with global teams of varying language
- Comfortable working in metric and imperial units in the development of construction document
- Participation in business development through market research, meeting with clients, assisting with marketing proposals, and participating in selection interviews is also a necessity to succeed in this role
What your experience looks like
- Bachelors or Masters degree in architecture from an accredited University
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with the tasks identified above
- Track record of exceptional performance
- Experience in a variety of project market sectors, including Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Semiconductor Science & Technology projects.
- Thorough working understanding of the Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit capabilities
- Ability to utilize financial management software
- Ability for travel up to 10%
The pay range for this role is $140,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

Role Requirements
Project Architect, Bachelor of Architecture with California license required , with a minimum of 5 years of technical expertise in life science, laboratories, agriculture technology, GMP, and/or commercial architecture including demonstrated success as a project architect on a range of science & technology project types .

As a Project Manager at Ware Malcomb, you will deliver innovative design projects to diverse clients through all phases. Your Role- Responsible for the management of the projects, start to finish.

- Demonstrated lab planning experience.
- Experience overseeing the full life cycle of an S&T project, from programming and planning through CA and commissioning.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes. Individual should be able to interact with code officials and other design professionals to resolve complex code issues.
- Knowledge and experience designing wet and dry laboratories, and clean rooms.
- Knowledge of clean room ISO standards.
- Hazardous material containment and control area knowledge with respect to life science, pharmaceutical and manufacturing environments.
- GMP and FDA regulatory understanding with respect to Cleanroom classifications and validations.
- Excellent communication skills, a great personality and a strong work ethic.
- Experience in the use of Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Deltek Vantagepoint experience is preferred.
- Experience working with clients, as part of a team and be able to work independently.
- Proven ability to manage schedule and budget for multiple projects of various sizes.

Project Planning and Execution:

Job Requirements:
