Position Summary
The Department of Computer Science at CSU seeks an instructor to teach 100-, 200- and 300-level computer science courses during the 2025-2026 academic year. The position's normal workload is teaching up to 3 established courses per semester. The instructor is expected to adapt course materials to best fit their teaching style without altering core content. A detailed description of the department's courses is available at instructor will lecture, conduct office hours, administer exams and quizzes, develop assignments, and establish and apply grading rubrics (either directly grading or with the help of undergraduate teaching assistants (UTAs) that the instructor supervises).
This is a non-tenure track position and an annual appointment, which may be renewed based on performance and projected course demand.
Instructors must hold a Masters of Science degree (or higher) in computer science or a closely related field by the start of the assignment.

3. A certificate of completion of an apprenticeship program, established by the U.S. Department of Labor or the Florida Department of Labor (Air Conditioning, Building Maintenance, Electrical Wiring, etc.); and be employed in the FLVS Career and Technical Education program.
Experience:
One year successful teaching experience within subject area OR successful completion of an FLVS instructional internship program OR current enrollment in an approved EPI or MAT program

We are looking to hire an experienced Science instructor to provide instruction in science-related subjects ranging from Elementary School Science to High School AP Level Science. Your role is to provide instruction, create lesson plans, facilitate classroom discussions, evaluate student performance, and promote a positive learning environment. You will teach various science disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
JOB DUTIES:
- Develop and implement engaging and comprehensive lesson plans
- Demonstrate adaptability in teaching both one-on-one and in small group settings.
- Assess students progress through regular evaluations, including tests, assignments, and participation and provide constructive feedback to the students

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction for Advanced Placement (AP) courses over the summer. You will work with motivated high school students over 10 weeks to deepen their understanding of course material, develop test-taking strategies, and ultimately achieve their desired scores on the AP exams.
Our AP Computer Science A course meets Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00-6:00pm Pacific Time (7:00-9:00pm Eastern Time) until August 15th. The course has already started, but we're looking for an instructor who is willing to jump in and continue for the rest of the term.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive course sessions covering the Advanced Placement curriculum
- Integrate official College Board resources and best practices into the curriculum
- Develop and administer practice exams and quizzes to assess student progress and identify areas for improvement
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages collaboration and active participation
- Be the exam expect for students preparing for the exam
- Bachelor's or teaching degree in the computer science or a similar STEM field
- Experience teaching AP courses in high school OR teaching college level equivalents
