McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Laboratory Technical Consultant for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Under general administrative direction, provides organizational leadership in monitoring and overseeing the scientific and technical operations of the McFarland Clinic laboratories, overseeing the quality control and quality assurance activities of all laboratories, maintaining proficiency testing records for all laboratory staff within the McFarland Clinic laboratory network. Acts as a liaison between CLIA and COLA to keep regulatory requirements up to date.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences
Certification/License
- MLT, MT, MLS certification ASCP or equivalent certification agency.
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM.
Experience
-
3 years full-time laboratory experience.

Familiarity with CLIA/COLA laboratory regulations.

Familiarity with laboratory proficiency and competency requirements.
