**About the Role:**

**As a CBRE LIS Coordinator, you will provide support services to facilitate the repair, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instrumentation.**
**Coordinates essential laboratory functions within a cross functional environment for the Client. Responsible for leading structured, tiered meetings and following up on all requests, efficiently meeting and advancing the business needs, and working closely with all members of the wider team to provide a proactive and focused approach to drive laboratory instrument up-time. Near term opportunity for growth into technical aspects of the business.**
**What You'll Do:**
+ **Liaises with scientists, laboratory managers and account team regarding services required for essential laboratory and related business functions.**
+ **Serve as primary point of contact in laboratories for instrument needs**
+ **Perform daily Level 1 asset checks to assess any challenges and/or issues with instruments and communicate needs to technical and scheduling teams**
+ **Work with staff about services required for maintenance (preventative or corrective)**
+ **Support inventory verification efforts leveraging CMMS data**
+ **Ensure accurate instrument tagging**
+ **Escort vendors coming onsite to perform PM/CM/CAL/QUAL services**
+ **Perform daily equipment preparation and setup.**
+ **Provide training support and backup to department personnel for the review of GxP pipette or similar certificates and test reports.**
+ **Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance.**
+ **Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.**
+ **Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.**
+ **Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.**
**What You'll Need:**
+ **High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.**
+ **Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.**
+ **Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.**
+ **Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.**
+ **Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.**
+ **Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.**
+ **Experience with CMMS systems, Desktop publishing, Microsoft Office Suite, and Online Help.**
+ **Knowledge of GxP and understanding of a lab instrument services environment.**

The minimum salary for the Scientific Equipment Coordinator position is $45,500 annually and the maximum salary for the Scientific Equipment Coordinator position is $90,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.**

Position Overview
Position works within a team environment to assist and complete daily duties in the Test Lab
ResponsibilitiesDaily process testing of combined board and finished goods Collect & prepare daily combined board samples for testing Perform Mullen, flat crush, pin adhesion and ECT on weekly samples Perform compression test evaluations Perform various tests on liner and medium when required Generate charts, graphs and reports as necessary Assist and perform ISTA testing for Customers, including prework calculations and reporting, ensuring accuracy to all ISTA and Customer specific testing protocols. Process Daily corrugator schedules for weekly samples, HazMat and special customer testing Monitor and ensure compliance to daily HazMat packaging orders Perform Competitor Spec analysis on samples supplied for quoting Support trials, conduct testing as required and analyze results; create and distribute reports Test samples and create Certificates of Analysis for customers Conduct monthly CTS testing Provide technical assistance and testing to other departments and divisions • Conduct physical testing on containerboard, corrugated board and corrugated containers • Accurately record data using the divisions internal data collection system • Analyze, chart, and report results of tests to assist internal and external customers with quality related issues • Perform projects that support the division's operational objectives • Collect, prepare, and condition samples of containerboard, corrugated board and corrugated containers • Monitor production operations and report quality and paper discrepancies to management • Calibrate test equipment on scheduled intervals to ensure accurate testing data • Using statistical process control (SPC), review and monitor testing data • Communicate via written and oral communication with internal and external customers • Perform daily activities in compliance with documented safety requirements • Consistently perform work in accordance with the divisions internal procedures and quality system • Assist in maintenance of laboratory quality processes and equipment • Maintain work area in an orderly manner
QualificationsRequires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for working with external customers and internal employees within the organization. Adaptable to routine change daily or as needed depending on workload Ability to work well within a team environment with clear feedback and communication Must be analytically and detail driven. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Related technical schooling is preferred. In lieu of technical education, related experience in a manufacturing setting may be considered. Qualified candidates should have demonstrated skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office 365. Good communication skills, both oral and written, are required. Successful candidates will have problem solving skills and be able to work independently. Familiarity and experience with the following equipment is preferred: slide angle tester, score band tester, calipers and micrometers, small and large compression testers, and cutters.
