Under minimal supervision, is responsible for the collection, coordination, processing and quality control of clinical trial data. May assist with screening patients for research protocols. Maintains research protocol information, regulatory documents and other research files as applicable. Works in compliance with US Oncology Research (USOR) Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), principles of Good Clinical Practice and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Extrapolates data, completes case report forms, and ensures timely data submission in accordance with USOR SOP.
-Utilizes USOR Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) to access research forms and keeps current all applicable patient reporting and tracking functions.
-Actively prepares for and participates in monitoring and auditing activities.
-Assists in ensuring that all queries are resolved in a timely manner in accordance with USOR SOP and sponsor requirements.
-Responsible for assisting with processing, filing and maintaining protocol regulatory documents.
-Responsible for assisting with coordinating patient follow-up visits and timely data submission.
-Responsible for assisting with collection and processing of specimens, imaging documents, ECGs, or other items required for research purposes
-Responsible for ordering and maintaining research supplies.
-Maintains research records in a confidential manner according to practice policies, sponsor confidentiality agreements, HIPAA guidelines and any other applicable regulations.
-May lead and mentor other data coordinators at the site/location
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework or other relevant background preferred. Three-five years medical office experience (preferably in oncology) and knowledge of medical terminology required. Minimum of three years experience as data coordinator required. SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred.

Salary Range: $188,200.00 - $282,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. The likely salary range for this position is $161,500 - $218,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

This position is located in Arlington, VA.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Support development of Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ML based pipelines for data inference.
Apply supervised, unsupervised, and NLP Machine Learning (ML) algorithms for clustering, classification dimensionality reduction, and metadata extraction & content analysis.
Work in cross-functional engineering and product development teams with data at all stages of the analysis lifecycle to derive actionable insight.
Analyze complex datasets, detect trends and patterns, develop conclusions, and provide recommendations to improve data ingestion, increase data scaling, and enhance data exploitation to ensure more interoperable and secure data.
Verify data quality and/or ensure it via data cleaning for accuracy and completeness.
Perform statistical analysis and utilize results to improve the model and data pipeline.
Work with data engineers to design, develop, and maintain ETLs to extract, transform the data into existing data warehouses.
Collaborate with analytics teams and SMEs to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and encouraging data-driven decision making across the organization.
Automate data analysis to improve and enhance data.
Adept at picking up new tools and technologies.
Manage large complex projects involving diverse datasets.
Excellent technology communication and thought leadership skill.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management or related technical field.
7+ year's experience obtaining data from multiple, disparate data sources including structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
Demonstrable expertise in an area of data science or analytics (e.g. machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, predictive modeling and forecasting, statistics).
Proficiency in tools and languages such as Graph DBs, PostgreSQL/SQL, Python, or Java.
Experience using ML algorithms packages contained in AWS SageMaker or open-source libraries (Python, C++, etc.)
Experience developing, verifying, and monitoring AI/ML Models
Familiarity with DevOps processes and code versioning tools such as git
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management or related technical field.
Demonstrated experience with enhancing, managing, optimizing performance, and processing large volumes of data
Familiarity with industry best practices for software/hardware development when processing large data sets
Experience in the following required task areas: machine learning, statistical modeling, time-series forecasting, and/or geospatial analytics
Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or other parallel computing processes
Experience with using the Joint Enterprise Modeling and Analytics (JEMA) framework or Apache NiFi to develop data processing workflows
Experience in AWS services including but not limited to Sagemaker, S3, EMR, and IAM.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $150,800.00.
