We are seeking performance system conversion from our legacy system to BISAM. The Product Owner/Scrum Master is responsible for multiple aspects of the project including the sign-off of customer requirements and delivery deadlines, communication with key stakeholders and internal management, management of internal and external project resources and managing the project budget and schedule. The ideal candidate will have extensive demonstrable Project Management experience gained in the financial services industry. Experience leading the implementation of a Front, Middle or Back Office Asset Management system is essential.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for tracking the progress of a performance system conversion from legacy platform to BISAM to meet deliverables and the system go-live date. You will also help to refine our Implementation Methodology and Best Practices.
Manage internal and external resources involved in the project. This requires the ability to rally and lead a team.
Communicate with customers to review business, functional and technical requirements to ensure the highest quality delivery of the system conversion as well as any product enhancements.
Collaborate with the Project Team to set and manage stakeholder expectations around project timelines and budget. You will be responsible for managing and communicating issues to the customer and internal project teams. You will also be the first level of escalation for all project issues.
Organize a team with the required skills for a successful project while providing our team members with appropriate opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications and Skills
- 10-15 years Project Management experience leading the implementation of enterprise-scaleperformance measurement systems. Experience in the conversion of legacy performance systr.em to BISAM.
- Strong knowledge of project/product management methodologies and tools in Agile methodoligy
- Working in systems or business analysis and system design preferably within Asset Management or Financial Services.
- A strong record of customer service. The Implementation Manager will need to understand customer needs and build effective relationships. The IM must be able to convey plans, issues and concerns to clients and team members in a clear, logical and concise manner. They will need to also be able to influence key decision makers.
- Must be customer driven, have the ability to work within a team environment, and be focused on providing a high quality of service to the customer.
- Strong organizational and presentation skills. Candidate must be able to create and manage a complex project plan in an efficient and timely manner.
- Strong time management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Ability to think logically to solve complex problems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

- Maintain and monitor Agile delivery structure within Azure DevOps (repos, boards, pipelines, etc.)

Role Overview:
- Focuses the Agile team on delivering planned value
- Ensures the team(s) achieve their stated objectives by reinforcing the SAFe framework and Scrum principles, keeping the team focused on their goals, and facilitating all standard ceremonies
- Guides the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values
- Guides the team on how to get the most out of self-organization
- Guides the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Assesses the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Facilitates getting the work done
- Addresses and eliminates impediments beyond the team's authority or items that require support from other teams
- Guides the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment
- Builds an environment of continuous improvement and encourages a healthy intra-team dynamic by facilitating team retrospectives, coaching the team on problem-solving and conflict resolution, and escalating issues when necessary
- Facilitates discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution
- Coordinates with other teams (DevOps, System Teams, Shared Services, and other Scrum Master s), passing information to others and back to the team as needed
- Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
- Supports and educates the Product Owner, especially with respect to maintenance and work on the product backlog
- Guides the team through estimating and forecasting
- 6+ years in a titled Scrum Master role (not just responsibilities)
- 6+ years of Project Management experience (understands Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid delivery)
- Strong Agile Coaching capabilities: team maturity assessment, anti-pattern correction, facilitation, etc.
- Strong JIRA expertise :
- Workflow creation & optimization
- Dashboarding and reporting (rich filters, controllers)
- CI/CD pipeline understanding, automation with GitHub, and DevOps
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership
- Certification is mandatory (e.g., PSM II, CSP-SM, PMI-ACP)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
