A company in the Colorado Springs, CO area is looking for a Mission Operations Analyst to join their team at Schriever Space Force Base to support classified programs. The Mission Operations Engineers will support, maintain and monitor a 24/7 Operations Environment and must be willing to work shift work.
This is a customer facing position and will coordinate operational activities in support of real-time operations for missile tracking and prediction systems. This role requires strong understanding of Linux operating systems and ability to troubleshoot, patch, script and provide overall Tier 1 & 2 support. Responsibilities will also include: troubleshooting software and OS to restore operational status, Technical presentations and analysis reports as required, Performance analysis of missile tracking and monitoring and maintaining system status. Knowledge and experience with Ground and Flight Test support and analysis, Linux System Administration and Tracking/log Real World Events is a plus. Pay Range: ~$70-115K annually. The Process Improvement Engineer is a hybrid role ideal for individuals who thrive on solving operational challenges through data analysis and structured communication. This position blends floor-based observation with office-based reporting and is responsible for leading projects that enhance manufacturing safety, efficiency, quality, and compliance. Success in this role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in tools like Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to influence change through continuous improvement initiatives and capital project support.
**This is a full-time on-site salaried position, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm**
**Please Note:** To meet business needs, this role may require weekend work and hours outside of normal work schedule.

**The Role**
+ Develop systems to identify and measure key performance indicators (uptime, downtime, scrap, yield)
+ Identify key site capacity constraints and provides timely solutions to resolve
+ Manage continuous improvement project pipeline to prioritize projects in relation to cost, benefit, and effort
+ Develop and present performance metrics and project updates to leadership
+ Uses Lean Six Sigma tools to measure, understand, and improve process variability and efficiency
+ Under the direction of site leadership, prioritizes capital projects for improving site performance and efficiency (safety, cost, quality)
+ Guides the specification and selection of process, utility, and facility equipment to support site needs
+ Ensures all design and construction work complies to cGMP guidelines, as applicable
+ Other duties as assigned
**The Candidate**
+ Must have High school diploma with 5 years manufacturing experience and 1 year in a leadership or continuous improvement role **OR**
+ Bachelor's degree with 3 years manufacturing experience and 6 months in a leadership or continuous improvement role **OR**
+ Master's degree with 2 years manufacturing experience **OR**
+ Doctoral degree with no experience required
+ Proficient in English verbal and written communication skills to convey and receive ideas and instructions to/from others within and outside the organization
+ Ability to work well with cross functional teams
