**Role Definition**
Oversees and coordinates the activities of complex manufacturing electric power generation unit assembly, prepares schedules, resolves issues, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards. Our production process follows a stall assembly model of equipment built in one location with workforce moving to each unit to perform their specific tasks. The workforce is divided into teams by specific operations for an efficient workflow.

We are seeking a Traffic Section Manager/Principal Traffic Engineer for our Traffic Engineering, Transportation Safety and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) practices in Arizona. The successful candidate will develop close client and staff relationships; providing creative approaches to project development; maintaining stewardship responsibility during project execution; and a personal dedication to serving client needs. In addition, the successful candidate will provide subject matter technical support and leadership for traffic engineering projects including design, operational analysis, and safety.

- Oversee and conduct project reviews to validate existing and projected roadway and transportation system layouts, traffic impacts of proposed developments, and recommended traffic safety enhancement. Ensure technical reports and presentations describe research, findings, and recommendations
- Supervises, develops, and mentors designated staff members to meet established objectives. Monitors key performance indicators for the section including utilization, project performance and member development
- Responsible to support designated members to identify career development objectives, conduct performance reviews and any performance-related actions for assigned members working with support of HR as needed
- Daily coordination with assigned members with periodically scheduled one-on-one time

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking a Grants Section Manager to join the accounting team in Cheyenne, WY. As the Grants Section Supervisor, this position provides and applies subject matter expertise in the development, administration, monitoring, and compliance verification of all federal and non-federal grants, sub-grants, cooperative agreements, memorandums of understanding, special use permits, leases, conservation easements and right-of-ways, including the USFWS comprehensive management plan for federal funds. The position is responsible for supervision and leadership support to four (4) direct reports. The position also serves as an internal cost accounting systems expert on purpose, functionality, and criticality for the tracking and management of all agency expenditures.

- Oversee and assist with administration, compliance monitoring, and reporting for the PR/DJ USFWS federally funded program totaling up to $25M annually. - Supervise one Federal Aid Coordinator (FIAC10), two Grants Analysts (FIAC09), and one Grant Support Specialist (FIAC08). Responsible for the preparation of all goals, midterm appraisals, and annual performance appraisals. Establish timelines and processes for effective workflow. Communicates frequently with the Fiscal administration the status of grant section activities regarding the operations of the grants section.
- Conduct timely training sessions for all section employees regarding new or changed federal and state laws, regulations, rules, and processes to ensure consistent application both financially and programmatically.
- Review and provide guidance in the development of funding documents to ensure budgetary capacity and monitoring, meet match requirements, documentation standards, and compliance issues are accurately tracked. Compile, review and evaluate financial information regarding various program expenditures and revenues for grant-required reporting and budgetary and management purposes. Keep apprised of and communicate relevant information regarding new or changed state and federal requirements related to third-party funding to ensure compliance with audit requirements. Visit project sites with field personnel, funding cooperators, and auditors to ensure compliance from a financial and regulatory standpoint.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new and/or modified internal systems and processes, including upgrading and rewriting of the seven components of PPCAS and document management system related to grant and agreement workflow and retention processes. Learn and train section employees on various external systems and processes to meet funding partner requirements including grant application, award administration, and final reporting. Identify, propose and implement efficiency improvement in both internal and external processes in a continuous effort to enhance business practices and manage workload.
- Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and General Accounting Manager to maintain the integrity of the program participation cost accounting system (PPCAS) which ensures effective and reliable capture, allocation, and reporting of all agency expenditures.
- Assist fiscal division administration with the required reporting for all federal revenue and expenditures by the department on a quarterly and annual basis for state audit reporting requirements. Prepare annual federal A133 notifications to all recipients of federal funds for review and distribution.
- Participate in ongoing State of Wyoming audits and every 6-year OIG comprehensive audits which require compilation of all documentation requested and engagement with OIG auditors in all components of the audit process.
- Monitor assigned grant section staff to ensure that projects and budgets are established, reviewed, and closed as required. Reviews and approves monthly accounting reconciliations prepared by section employees to ensure any financial report discrepancies have been identified, required matching funds have been accounted for, and funding distributions have been applied correctly.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the system's purpose, functionality, and structure regarding data relationships within and between other internal financial systems. Monitor the maintenance of data tables and validation assignments to include project codes, funding sources, splits, and vehicle and personnel billable rates.
- Oversee the management of all documents for other programmatic agreements to include, including memorandum of understandings, memorandum of agreements, cooperative agreements, cost-share agreements, leases, right-of-ways, easements, barters, and contracts.
- Identify and assign grant section representation for agency working groups such as the Habitat Technical Advisory Group, USFWS Wildlife & Sportfish Restoration program, and Wyoming Governor's Big Game License Coalition to include assignment of deliverables/tasks necessary to meet program deliverables.
- Advise the General Accounting Manager and Chief Financial Officer on financial systems matters related to grant and agreement compliance. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with department executive staff, internal and external customers, and other agency personnel.
Preference will be given to those with a Bachelor's Degree (typically in Business), plus three years of professional work experience in grant management, both federal and non-federal. Preference will also be given to those with prior supervisory experience.

We are seeking a Geotechnical Section Manager to support the Department Manager in leading a geotechnical engineering team focused on transportation infrastructure projects. This role functions as a deputy department manager, providing both technical oversight and personnel management. The Section Manager will be responsible for guiding the design, development, and delivery of geotechnical project tasks, while managing scope, budget, and quality control. They will coordinate project priorities, staffing schedules, and assignments to ensure that resources are aligned with client needs. In addition, the Section Manager will provide technical coaching and mentorship, support reviews of deliverables, and promote the efficient and productive utilization of staff to maintain high standards of service and performance.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Develops, monitors and manages the section's operating budget in support of the group or office operating budget and forecast updates.
+ Responsible for the management, growth and professional development of discipline-specific engineering section. Coordinates section activities establishes priorities and staff to jobs. Ensures staff development, mentoring and training needs are being met. Collaborates with other Sections and Departments within the office on work-sharing needs and opportunities.
+ Supports the implementation of the firm's strategic plan and HNTB's Sophisticated Sales Approach (SSA) process on project pursuits in the Section and office, including development of Section-level strategic planning strategies.
+ Supports the implementation of the firm's contracting (SCA) process through project delivery and contracting activities including scope, work plan and fee reviews for all contracting activities impacting the Section.
+ Supports the implementation of the firm's project delivery (SDA) process including Work Planning, Monthly Project Reviews and other project performance methods to ensure quality work, on time, on schedule, to the client's satisfaction.
+ Assists in marketing responsibilities, including client discovery, proposal generation, interviews, and win-to-work activities
+ Maintains client contacts to ensure client satisfaction
+ Recruits, hires, develops and retains section staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession.
+ Manages assigned project management activities (project scope, schedule, budget and quality management) and performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specifications and plan preparation.
+ Leads a team including the direct and indirect supervision of at least 5 but typically 7 - 10 or more employees.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years of practical experience including 2 years of leadership experience.
**What We Prefer:**
+ Master's degree in Engineering
+ 12 years practical experience
+ 2 years supervisory experience
+ Professional Engineer (PE) certification

The approximate pay range for New Jersey is $136,239.94 - $232,465.35. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
