In support of the Bank's guidelines for the establishment and modification of employee access to authorized systems based on the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) criteria. Responsible for evaluating access to all systems, establishes, and modifies access to authorized systems in RBAC system. Evaluating and reviewing access to all systems.

What you will do
  • Responsible for establishing access to all systems as guided by the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) criteria. Ensures new and transferred employees access is properly set up; ensures terminated employees access is properly removed. Reviews work of team to ensure assessment and access set-up is correct.
  • Work with Senior Analyst and/or Team Lead on quarterly and annual review to ensure functionality is adequate or consideration should be given to new functionality; also reviews access rights. Works with vendors and Bank departments for necessary changes.
  • Advise department managers on systems access requirements.
  • Maintain and update user access certifications and logical access model documentation with high quality that meet the Information Security standards.
  • Map the Information Security program requirements to current regulations.
  • Assess business or process requirements, completing research and analysis to determine viable solutions.
  • Monitor and report on compliance to the Information Security program including analyzing, documenting, and disseminating information on process, standards, and initiatives.
  • Perform quality assurance on Information Security activities. Accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to timelines.
  • Other related job task assigned.
Who you are
  • High School Diploma/GED required. Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years IT related experience preferred.
  • CompTIA A+ is preferred.
  • Ability to review and analyze applications user entitlements and processes.
  • Knowledge of the Bank's organizational and job structures.
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation) to result in effective working relationships/great customer service with internal and external contacts.
  • Familiarity with tracking and reporting tools.

Pay Range: $25.50 - $7.00 hourly

Duties and Responsibilities

The Air Force (AF) Special Access Program (SAP) Security Support Services (SSS) assists the AF cognizant security authority in oversight of enhanced National Security Objectives supporting AF SAP interests through active and integrated security operations, processes, mechanisms, and management. This support provides multi- disciplinary security support, including specialized analytical/program protection support, while being responsive and flexible to dynamic SAP security situations.


The position provides Security Visitor Control, program security administration to include personnel and information security functions as needed and is responsible to the Chief of Security, for entry and circulation control and other administrative duties to assure visitors are greeted professionally and receive assistance as necessary. Position may also serve as a Cleared American Guard (CAG) / Cleared Escort to provide perimeter and internal access control, control of secure storage areas, and personnel or material escort within controlled construction areas. Duties include the following:

  • Check identification of all visitors, and ensure all are sponsored and properly cleared via JPAS or a local database.
  • Determine visitor's need to enter the building, log visitors in, issue visitor badges and notify hosts of visitor arrivals.
  • Ensure visitors are not introducing any prohibited items (cell phones, pagers, jump drives, PDAs, etc).
  • Perform and/or assist government employees with inspecting bags and hand-carried items.
  • Receive packages from outside agencies (UPS, Fed Ex, etc) and distribute in accordance with facility standard operating procedures.
  • Check assigned personnel and ensure they have and are displaying authorized access badges.
  • Perform emergency procedures for bomb threat, active shooter, force protection, Anti-Terrorism, fire evacuation and other emergency situations in accordance with emergency procedures checklists.
  • Account for all logs, instructions, equipment and badges at the beginning and end of each scheduled work day.
  • Assist with personnel, information, program security and entry control functions.
  • Denies introduction of prohibited materials such as explosives, weapons, electronic devices, or other items specified by the Accrediting Official (AO) or designee.
  • Conducts random inspections of all site areas to ensure no prohibited materials have been brought on to the site.
  • Ensures that all suspicious materials or incidents be brought to the attention of the site security manager (SSM) or construction surveillance technician (CST).
  • Maintains control and operates in Secure Storage Area (SSA) established by the assigned construction company within the construction site footprint where they will store construction materials and equipment that will be used for the project.
  • Screens all non-cleared workers, vehicles, and equipment entering or exiting the project site.
  • Follow and enforce customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative.
  • Shall conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces and document the results of findings.

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in special program security work highly preferred, but willing to accept and train entry level employee if otherwise qualified.
  • Prior Military or Construction/Physical security related experience is highly desirable.
  • Valid CAG certification is desirable (obtained thru CDSE Websites).
  • Prior active duty in the U.S. Air Force a plus.

Systems Security Administration (SSA) Management Team Lead (15.23)

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

OCT currently has an opening for a Systems Security Administration (SSA) Management Team Lead to work with a technology division within the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This role will require strong leadership and information system skills. The contractor shall oversee several Systems Security Administrators and advise on risk, compliance and security, as described below.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Support change management processes and ensure SSA controls are consistently implemented and applied
  • Provide system security project management support.
  • Provide status reporting of security activities to include risk posture and compliance.
  • Identify Information System SSA gaps and offer mitigation strategies.
  • Advise on new user account profiles and associated roles to preclude separation of duties conflicts and ensuring “need-to-know” and “least privileges" criteria are applied for access to applications.
  • Manage annual user recertifications for the supported financial and facilities applications to ensure compliance with policy requirements.
  • Collaborate / communicate with applicable parties to ensure appropriate approvals for requested user profiles and roles are obtained.
  • Support the FSA-IS and A-123-IS Assessment audits for SSA functions and maintain appropriate artifacts.
  • Leverage excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Lead and work in a team environment, remaining resilient and professional during highly sensitive and urgent situations.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must hold an active DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s (BS/BA) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, or Science fields. (Master’s degree preferred.)
  • Must have at least 7 years of InfoSec / IT Security related work experience.
  • Must have 2 years of FISMA (Federal Information Security Management Act) related experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with information security standards, policies, and practices-NIST (800-53 rev), FISCAM, FISMA, DOD, DCID, FBI, etc.
  • Experience analyzing information technology and system risk issues in complex environments.
  • Experience in an IT customer support role, including working knowledge of account and access management.
  • Experience managing a team of system security administrator personnel
  • CISSP, PMP, and Comp TIA A+ certifications a plus.
  • The primary place of performance will be at FBI facilities in the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA)/ National Capital Region (NCR).

Schedule:
