Job Description
ASRC Federal Cyber is hiring a Security Coordinator to support a Navy contract located at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dam Neck, Virginia. The Security Coordinator will support the customer in the implantation of the overall security program to include Information Security, Physical Security, OPSEC, Special Security and other Security Programs. Must have a current active DOD Top Secret clearance or an active DOD Secret clearance and be able to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility within 18 months.
**Responsible for the following:**
+ Managing Information Security programs
+ Classified control point
+ Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
+ Providing oversight and scheduling for 24/7-hour support
+ Identifying spaces and security requirements for meetings
+ Assisting with development and implementation of security training and education
+ Reviewing and approving timecards
+ Derivative classification and marking
+ Providing security support for meetings and other activities
+ Assisting with special programs to include NATO, Critical Nuclear Weapon Design Information (CNWDI), Restricted Data/Formerly Restricted Data (RD/FRD), and Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information and SCI

**Requirements** :
Must have or demonstrate the following:
+ Three (3) years of experience in developing and maintaining documentation and/or data management systems, involving DOD/DON combined in the security disciplines of information, physical, operations, and special security (e.g. Special Security Representative)
+ Bachelors Degree in a related field. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.
+ Active DOD Top Secret clearance or an active DOD Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility within 18 months
+ Experience should demonstrate skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
+ Ability to utilize a ladder and carry a minimum of 50 pounds to perform physical security assessments
+ On-Site in person position
+ Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, to include specific Government formats and reports.
+ Knowledge of various software applications; Lenel Enterprise Control/Intrusion Detection System (IDS) alarms, Scattered Castles, Defense Information Security System (DISS) or the latest ISS and Security Information Management System (SIMS).
+ Experience in the use of DOD/DON policies regarding physical, information, and special security. Ability to climb a ladder to perform physical security assessments.

Oversees the installation, programming, and repair of electronic access controls, to include proximity card and swipe card hardware. Provides support for video capture and playback from facility cameras in consultation with Sr. Manager to support requests from EHC authorized users. Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or Associates Degree and 5 years of experience working with electronic security system software, installation, operations, maintenance, and management. Comprehensive knowledge of security camera systems, card access systems, and intrusion alarm systems; comprehensive knowledge or skills in the installation, operation and maintenance of security systems; knowledge of the evaluation of construction blueprints; familiar with network and local digital video recorders. A valid Georgia driver¿s license and an insurable driving record are required.

**Job Purpose:** The Safety and Security Coordinator collaborates in developing, implementing, and monitoring the agency's security and safety plan. This position coordinates all phases of safety and security at CFI leased and owned properties and assists in incorporating those functions into the agency's overall operations.

Jewish Community Security Inc. has an immediate opening for a Security Coordinator for the afternoon shift . Reporting to the Community-Wide Deputy Security Director, the officer will be assigned to The Jewish Federation of Detroit, Jewish Day Schools and/or Summer Camp Programs year-round.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor agency/school/camp facilities (e.g. grounds, buildings, parking lot) for the purpose of providing visibility, maintaining security, and deterring crime.
• Provide an armed (concealed) response capability, respond to unusual or emergency situations and take appropriate and reasonable action to ensure the security and safety of students, campers, visitors, staff, and property.
• Deliver a security presence during staff and/or students’ arrival, recess, and dismissal.
• Observe and report activities, incidents and suspicious activity; maintain accurate records and reports.
• Direct traffic in the parking lots when needed and maintain parking enforcement when needed.
• Preserve order and act to ensure regulations and directives for the site pertaining to students, campers, staff, visitors and premises are followed.
• Monitor entrances and exits, prevent unapproved or unlawful entry, control the movement of people, vehicles, and parking.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, weapons, and life saving devices.
• Operate and monitor CCTV camera system and access control.
• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, intruder, active threats, flooding, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather and other incidents.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
