Job Description
Walden Security is currently recruiting experienced Court Security Officers. CSOs will provide armed security to courthouses under the USMS contract.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Includes the following and other duties may be assigned:
Perform entrance control: Enforce the District's entry and identification system which includes operating security screening equipment to detect weapons, contraband, and prohibited items, checking items such as handbags, briefcases, computers, packages, baby carriages, wheelchairs, etc.
Perform roving patrol: Patrol court facilities and grounds of the facility in accordance with applicable post orders.
Perform stationary post assignments: Stand guard at stationary posts which include (but not limited to) monitoring closed-circuit television, duress alarm systems and other security equipment, courtrooms, judge chambers, and jury rooms.
Perform escort duties: When directed, provide armed escort services for judges, court personnel, jurors, and other designated individuals.
Perform garage parking and pedestrian control: Where applicable, direct traffic and control lights on court facility properties, as described in the post orders and/or standard operating procedures.
Enforce law and order: Enforce federal law while in the performance of assigned duties. This includes (but not limited to) detaining any person attempting to gain unauthorized access to Government property, or a court proceeding(s), or attempting to commit acts that imperil the safety and security of Government employees, property, and the public.
Prepare reports and records: Prepare various reports and records regarding contract performance issues, such as labor hours worked, accidents, fire, bomb threats, unusual incidents, or unlawful acts that occurred within the court facility area.
Court attendance: Responsible for securing unattended courtrooms, an inspection of courtrooms prior to a proceeding, testing of security devices, and other duties concerning security of the court area.
Preserve order: Responsible for providing security presence in the courtroom, enforcing federal law and judicial orders within the courtroom, enforcing local court rules regarding prohibited items, and providing protection to court proceedings as circumstances dictate.
**Requirements**
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). At least three (3) calendar years of verifiable experience as a certified law enforcement officer or its military equivalency (Master-at-Arms, CGPD, Security Forces Specialist, etc.); all three (3) years must have occurred within the last seven (7) years. The experience must have included general arrest authority.
Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must possess the ability to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver's license from state of residency and a safe driving record for the past five years; Must receive clearance from the Department of Justice. Must have completed or graduated from certified Federal, state, county, local or military law enforcement training academy and able to provide certification as proof.
Other Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age; Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Physical Demands: Must meet medical standards as specified by the United States Marshal Service (USMS); The physical demands are based on the contract and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The Public Safety Technical Consultant is a key member of the Oracle Public Safety implementation team responsible for assisting customers in migrating historical data to the Oracle public safety solution. Part of this results-oriented role will include planning, executing, and validating data migrations, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the implementation. Candidates for this role should be excited about pushing the boundaries of traditional data migrations and adopting new technologies and tools to accomplish successful customer outcomes. **Responsibilities**
**What you will do:**
+ Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define data migration requirements, objectives, and scope for each project.
+ Develop detailed data migration strategies, including timelines, resources, and risk assessments for assigned project.
+ Identify data sources, target systems, and determine the appropriate migration approach (ETL, direct transfer, etc.).

+ Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting any risks, issues, or delays.
+ Create post-migration reports and assist in post-migration audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
+ Offer post-migration support to address any issues or concerns that arise after data migration.
+ Use your exceptional customer service skills to guide customers through a successful migration process.
**What you've done:**
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data management, or equivalent ( **minimum 8 years)** **work experience** .
+ **8-10 yrs of relevant work experience and 4+ years of technical and/or consulting experience** architecting enterprise and application solutions in public safety software.
+ **Proven experience in data migration, data analysis, or database management.**
+ **Experience with data migration tools and techniques (e.g., ETL tools, SQL, data mapping tools).**
+ **Familiarity with different database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and data formats (e.g., CSV, XML, JSON).**

The Applications Sales Representative will identify, qualify, advance, and close opportunities for Oracle's Public Safety solution(s) within the Local Government. This is an opportunity to work with Tier 2 & 3 city and county Public Safety entities to improve their operations and citizen experiences with a tailor-made solution. The position will grow business within a prescribed territory set by the Unit to; lead and drive sales opportunities through strategic selling, negotiate and close business, and lead the ongoing business relationship with clients. **Responsibilities**
**What you will do:**
+ Build, advance, and maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet annual quota objectives.
+ Accurately understand, deliver, and articulate Oracle's Local Government value propositions to local government agency prospects and decision-makers.
+ Ability to demonstrate software solutions to agency leadership and end-users.
+ Ability to work in a quick, agile growing business unit while still working within Oracle's overall sales parameters.
+ Assist and collaborate with the Sales Operations team to prepare RFP responses, pricing, and budgetary proposals.
+ Supervise all activity related to your opportunities sales processes within Oracle's Sales Cloud.

**What you have done:**
+ 5+ years of experience selling Public Safety, Computer-Aided Dispatch/Records Management and/or related software/hardware solutions.
+ 5+ years of Business to Government selling and running sophisticated and long sales cycles from lead development through the closing of the sale.
+ Responsible for the creation, advancement, and closing of Public Safety opportunities.
+ A history of consistently meeting sales quotas and crafting/growing pipelines in net new territories.
+ Strong applications background and understanding of software systems.
+ Has outstanding interpersonal skills to complete sophisticated sales transactions and provide information and transparency to any sales deal; or problem resolution situation.
+ Conducts interactions with internal/external clients, peers, and management in a polished and highly professional manner.

The Applications Sales Representative will identify, qualify, advance, and close opportunities for Oracle's Public Safety solution(s) within the Local Government. This is an opportunity to work with Tier 2 & 3 city and county Public Safety entities to improve their operations and citizen experiences with a tailor-made solution. The position will grow business within a prescribed territory set by the Unit to; lead and drive sales opportunities through strategic selling, negotiate and close business, and lead the ongoing business relationship with clients. **Responsibilities**
**What you will do:**
+ Build, advance, and maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet annual quota objectives.
+ Accurately understand, deliver, and articulate Oracle's Local Government value propositions to local government agency prospects and decision-makers.
+ Ability to demonstrate software solutions to agency leadership and end-users.
+ Ability to work in a quick, agile growing business unit while still working within Oracle's overall sales parameters.
+ Assist and collaborate with the Sales Operations team to prepare RFP responses, pricing, and budgetary proposals.
+ Supervise all activity related to your opportunities sales processes within Oracle's Sales Cloud.

**What you have done:**
+ 5+ years of experience selling Public Safety, Computer-Aided Dispatch/Records Management and/or related software/hardware solutions.
+ 5+ years of Business to Government selling and running sophisticated and long sales cycles from lead development through the closing of the sale.
+ Responsible for the creation, advancement, and closing of Public Safety opportunities.
+ A history of consistently meeting sales quotas and crafting/growing pipelines in net new territories.
+ Strong applications background and understanding of software systems.
+ Has outstanding interpersonal skills to complete sophisticated sales transactions and provide information and transparency to any sales deal; or problem resolution situation.
+ Conducts interactions with internal/external clients, peers, and management in a polished and highly professional manner.
+ Must be a proven self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative and ownership of the sales territory.
