**JOB SUMMARY**
+ Supervises and coordinates activities of security officers for various areas of the Hospital facilities and grounds and acts to deter loss of hospital, employee, patient and visitor property by intercepting unauthorized individuals and investigating unusual incidents.
**JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES**
+ **Education:** High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required. Must be able to read and write English and perform basic mathematical calculations. Specialized training in instructional or industrial security.
+ **Licensure:** Must possess a valid driver's license. For armed officers, must be able to obtain a valid Indiana Firearms License for the purpose of carrying a concealed weapon. CPR certification.

**Responsibilities**
+ Oversee and monitor day-to-day activities of PSOs to ensure proper performance and post coverage.
+ Ensure all assigned security officers:
+ Are properly trained and fully briefed on post orders and responsibilities.
+ Maintain required certifications, permits, and qualifications, including CPR and first aid.
+ Are in compliance with uniform and grooming standards per the Security Manual and SMART BOOK.
+ Are capable of responding appropriately to emergencies or unusual situations.
+ Enforce adherence to all contract terms, post orders, and operational procedures.
+ Conduct regular inspections of security personnel and posts to verify compliance.
+ Maintain open communication with the Facility Commander and Project Management Team regarding personnel performance, post issues, or operational concerns.

+ Must not act in the dual role of Armed Contract Security Officer while serving in a supervisory function.
+ Must be able to pass a Tier 2 background investigation and meet all government suitability standards.
+ Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
+ Must be able to effectively train, evaluate, and guide PSOs in accordance with contract standards.
+ Must maintain all certifications and credentials required by contract, local, and state regulations.
+ Must be able to pass Physical Abilities Test.

Purpose: Reports to the Center Culture Director.   • Education: High school diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience. Associate’s degree in criminal justice is desirable and may be substituted for experience.

Overview

Direct, monitor and assist in all hotel security and safety related programs. Perform protective, preventative, safety, and security related enforcement functions touring hotel complex to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all hotel guests, associates, and vendors. Implements and monitors all related SOP's, Mission Vision, and Values in a courteous and restrained manner in coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances, and threats.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understands Security related SOP's, property rounds and inspections.
  • Completes daily documented tours of entire hotel complex, promotes safe work practices.
  • A complete understanding of all Emergency related procedures (Fire, Medical, Weather, Bomb Threat, etc).
  • A complete understanding of all security related systems - CCTV, Radio, Key Card System, Fire Panel, etc.
  • A complete understanding of all incident reporting forms ensuring they are completed correctly based on factual investigations.
  • Works closely with all hotel department heads and MOD's to ensure hotel security.
  • May participate in hotel investigations.
  • Assists Chief Engineer in maintaining key control procedures.
  • Takes immediate actions on security related issues.
  • Keeps abreast of local criminal activity that may impact hotel.
  • Able to properly handle guests who may be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or are otherwise incapacitated.
  • Projects confident, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude.
  • Has a basic understanding of PC operation and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software programs and internet use.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, seen as a strong leader throughout the hotel.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Safety and security related courses are preferred.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Must have basic First Aid training.
  • Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals.
  • Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.
  • Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, and clear.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.

We are seeking an experienced Security Supervisor of Field Operations to organize and oversee the security operations at our facilities. As a Security Supervisor the ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills, display a strong commitment to security rules, and possess strong knowledge of risks and threats to safety and security. The ideal candidate should also exhibit strong leadership and communication skills. Our main goal is to establish and preserve an environment in which staff and visitors are safe and well-protected.

  • Cover shifts in your region
  • Implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
