**Primary Responsibilities:**
The ISSE shall perform, or review, technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established IA standards and regulations and recommended mitigation strategies.This includes:
+ Validates and verifies system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security design
+ Designs, develops, implements and/or integrates IA and security systems and system components including those for networking, computing and enclave environment to include those with multiple enclaves and with differing data protection/classification requirements
+ Builds IA into systems deployed to operation environments
+ Assist architects and systems developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate information security functionality to ensure uniform application of Agency security policy and enterprise solutions
+ Supports the building of security architectures
+ Enforces the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architecture
+ Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risk throughout the program life cycle
+ Contributes to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for system and networking operations
+ Reviews C&A documentation, providing feedback on completeness and compliance of its content
**CLEARANCE REQUIRED** : Minimum TS/SCI with ability to obtain Polygraph.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university ideally in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering or related field with a minimum of 15+ years of experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) or Network Engineer on programs and/or contracts with the customer space
+ CASP OR CISSP a firm requirement
+ CISSP-ISSEP DoD approved 8570 baseline certification is a firm requirement for Level III
+ Strong writing skills
+ Experience developing and documenting system security requirements and conducting requirements gap analysis.
+ Knowledge of, and practical experience with the NIST Special Publications 800 Series, CNSSI 1253, and DoD 8500.

Applies current systems security engineering methods, practices and technologies to the architecture, design, development, evaluation and integration of systems and networks to maintain system security. Works closely with Government customers to ensure that the security protection needs, concerns and requirements are defined and implemented with appropriate fidelity and rigor, early and in a sustainable manner throughout the life cycle of system that will allow for the security authorization of the system of interest. Works with systems developers or commercial product vendors in the design and evaluation of state-of-the-art secure systems, networks, and database products. Responsible for integration of multiple methods into a cohesive system security perimeter and environment and the policies and procedures necessary to monitor and maintain such an environment. Will prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation, using multiple standards under RMF and derivative processes (DOD 8510, JSIG, ICD-503, CNSSI 1253), to achieve security authorization of supported systems. Represents program security needs, concerns and requirements at customer meetings.
Essential Functions:
+ Experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization (A&A) processes to include RMF steps 1-4 (categorization, controls selection, control implementation, security assessment) and standard body of evidence (BoE) package development; specifically for pre-production, development and test environments.
+ Experience in DoD software selection and approval processes for COTS, GOTS and FOSS.
+ Experience in the application of DISA SRGs and STIGs.
+ Support security engineering activities, including such as basis of estimate development, requirements development, design, test, configuration management and maintenance of information systems and data.
+ Assist program security in the development of policies and procedures for emerging security technologies.
+ Support vulnerability assessment activities as required.
+ Support the evaluation, qualification, testing and delivery of security architecture improvement, obsolescence replacement and vulnerability response projects.
+ Experience in configuration and use of cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools such as ACAS and SCC.
+ Experience with A&A package processing in eMASS or XACTA.

What you will do
As a critical part of the team, the Commercial Installer works onsite with our commercial customers to set up and program their Integrated Security fire and security systems. The Commercial Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.
How you will do it
Installs appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security.
Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.
Prepares estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.
Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.
Tests operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.
Reads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.
Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
May manage installation teams on larger projects.
Coach and mentor less experienced installers.
