Field-based scientific leader who is accountable for oversight of all US medical affairs activity at Priority National Accounts. + Responsible for the clinical and business competency of field team in supported therapeutic areas including training and development. Ensures the competency of each Sr. MOSL as it relates to regulations, guidelines, and clinical/scientific information.
Qualifications
***Previous Oncology experience is strongly preferred.
+ Advanced degree required, preferably a M.D. D.O, Pharm.D. or Ph.D.
+ Greater than or equal to 5 years of direct people management required.
+ >=10 years industry, or equivalent, experience with demonstrated success in a managed care environment required. Preferably, would be an individual with multiple years of pharma mgmt and corp. experience. In addition to clinical and therapeutic expertise, a superior understanding of the business of healthcare policy and managed markets from the perspective of clinical, regulatory, commercial, and policy issues affecting the pharmaceutical and health insurance environments (preferred).
