AWS is looking for a Semiconductor Industry Advisor who understands the business and technology trends impacting the industry, and is passionate and capable of driving adoption across the sector in the US for AWS, leveraging the richness of the AWS cloud computing platform to position and drive the right technology solutions, cloud enable the technology ecosystem supporting the Semiconductor industry, and address changing industry needs.
Your responsibilities will include engaging with key industry customers, engaging strategic industry partners, attending and speaking at industry events, leading the process to enable industry solutions, and creating significant new business opportunities for AWS. You will enable the AWS sales teams selling to industry customers to drive their day-to-day interactions with key prospects. You will work closely with AWS Solutions Architects to develop and promote cloud patterns and solutions for the industry, including partner based solutions. You will work closely with the AWS product and services teams to help evolve AWS offerings for more rapid adoption by Semiconductor industry customers.
The ideal candidate will have a business development or consulting background, experience working with Semiconductor industry customers at the CxO/VP level, with a good understanding of legacy and emerging technologies and use cases in the Semiconductor industry. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A strong sense of ownership is a must.
Key job responsibilities
· Serve as a key member of the Industry Advisory team to drive overall AWS market and technical enablement strategy for the Semiconductor industry.
· Define and execute on a strategic market development plan and ensure it's in line with the AWS strategic direction, in partnership with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, product teams, marketing, partner team, legal, support, etc.).
· Define and size segments, identify and engage key customers, and identify and engage key partners including ISVs and system integrators.
· Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings for the Semiconductor industry.
· Understand the use of salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems.
· Present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to expanding our reach in the industry
· Manage complex contract negotiations and liaison with the legal group
· Handle a high volume of diverse customer engagements and interactions in the fast pace of the cloud computing market
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of business development, consulting, product management, or IT solutions development experience working in or selling to Semiconductor EDA, Equipment Suppliers, Design & Verification (fabless & integrated), and Foundry customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
- 10+ years of relevant domain knowledge of systems, applications and technology provider landscape in the Semiconductor industry, with ability to go deep on Electron Design Automation, Supply Chain & Yield Management, Product Lifecycle Management, and other critical applications in the Semiconductor industry.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations, and lead through influence.
- Working knowledge of software development practices and data center / infrastructure / networking / database systems / core distributed computing concepts / fundamentals of cloud computing and virtualization / storage systems / Analytics / emerging paradigms like IoT, Machine Learning, etc. is highly desired.

Job Description:

Mandatory Skills:

1. Engineer with 6+ Yrs of experience in embedded Linux driver/kernel development.

2. Strong C development skills.

3. Experience with any one of the driver development domain

o Graphics driver - DRM/KMS, OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL, Mesa

o Multi Media-Video driver - Vaapi, vdpau, gstreamer, v4l2

o Power management - System to RAM, S0ix3

o Display Driver development - X, Wayland, Weston, Display driver

o Experience with Audio sub-system, Audio drivers's, frameworks and ALSA SOC(ASOC), Audio protocols like I2S/TDM

o Proficient in Yocto development

o Virtualization - Xen, KVM, QNX hypervisor knowledge

o Ethernet Driver - Network driver development

4. Good working experience with IPC, DMA driver development.

5. Experience with kernel mode driver programming in Linux

6. Linux Device driver programming experience in Linux Kernel and Drivers.

7. Experience dealing with Linux community and Open Source contribution a plus

8. System knowledge, System Debugging

Compensation: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Required Qualifications



+ 8+ years of relevant SAP consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large consulting firm, boutique consulting firm, or as an internal consultant within industry.







+ 4 + years of experience implementing SAP solutions for organizations in the semiconductor industry or for semiconductor sector clients.







+ 5+ years of functional configuration experience with SAP Controlling with a focus on Product Costing.







+ 3+ years of SAP Finance/ Controlling business process design experience.







+ Experience participating in all phases of at least 4 full end-to-end SAP implementations, with a focus on SAP Finance/Controlling including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.







+ 4+ years experience in a technical or functional lead role, overseeing teams on at least 2 SAP end-to-end full lifecycle implementations.







+ Experience with a minimum of 2 full life cycle SAP S4 HANA implementations.







+ Bachelors degree or Associate degree plus equivalent work experience.







+ A bility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.



Preferred Qualifications



+ Masters degree







+ Experience migrating SAP ECC to S/4 HANA







+ Previous experience work ing directly for a "Big 4" consulting firm







+ Signavio experience







+ At least 1 current SAP certification
