**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. + Design and build memory or circuit blocks at the gate or transistor level
+ Simulate and analyze the circuit design using transistor level simulators
+ Extract the layout and perform post-layout simulations and verification
+ Floorplan physical implementation and leafcell layout integration to build the physical macro
+ Integrate characterization flow to extract timing and power information
+ Develop scripts to automate characterization flow, simulations, and verification
+ Specify and verify various behavioral and physical memory models
+ Document the design specifications, behavioral description, and timing diagrams
+ Specify silicon test plan and correlate silicon to simulation data
+ Help debug silicon issues
**Skillset Required**
+ Knowledge in development of memory compilers or custom digital circuits of all types; SRAMs, Register-files, Multi-ports, ROM, etc.

+ Good understanding of signal integrity, EM/IR, and reliability analysis
+ Understanding of memory behavioral and physical models

The purpose of this job is to design analog circuitry to probe and amplify high speed serial signals for analysis, to measure and characterize analog components or analog subsystems, to document measured performance and compare to design goals, and to review and guide PCB layout to ensure analog circuitry can perform as designed.
**Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:**
**Design analog circuits for probing and amplifying high speed serial data:**
+ Design high speed amplifier subsystems using off the shelf amplifiers
+ Design Bias-T networks with wide bandwidth
+ Design passive equalizers and filters using discrete components
+ Design signal envelope detectors
+ Simulate these designs using Keysight ADS and optimize the component selections as well as layout optimizations
**Measure and characterize HW subcomponents for SI performance:**
+ Measure PCB components using VNA and gather s-parameter data
+ Simulate and publish s-parameter performance to validate if design meets performance target
+ Measure clock jitter with oscilloscope and validate if jitter performance is met
+ Measure power nets with oscilloscope to validate if PDN performance meets expectations
**Perform serdes channel simulations using IBIS AMI models on Keysight ADS software:**
+ Validate Serdes performance can meet target BER
+ Identify optimal TX EQ and RX EQ settings for maximum performance
+ Quantify channel operating margin
**Required Education, Skills and Experience:**
+ Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or similar applicable degree
+ 2-5 years minimum experience in an Analog design role
+ Experience with ANSYS HFSS
+ Experience with Keysight ADS
