General Ledger Accountant

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to manage general ledger functions and provide financial reporting support for our organization.   • Provide backup support for other accounting staff as required.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Review AP and general ledger activity for accuracy; prepare reclasses and ad hoc reconciliations as needed.
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing fluctuation analyses and contributing to the executive reporting slide deck.
  • Take ownership of assigned processes and recommend improvements to workflows, reconciliation procedures, or documentation where applicable.
  • Ensure all work complies with internal controls and is properly documented for audit readiness.
  • Provide backup support to the senior accountant and accounting manager.
  • Gain exposure to advanced Excel functions, automation tools, and ERP system enhancements, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements over time.
We're looking for someone with:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of general ledger accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); exposure to automation tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with public company environments, internal controls, and ERP systems like Oracle (preferred)
  • Experience in the tech or advertising/media industry is a plus
