In the role of Staff, Agile Coach, you will be a catalyst for driving agile transformation within our organization. What You'll Achieve
- Collaborate with Agile and Engineering leaders to establish and implement agile objectives and metric systems.
- Facilitate engaging Agile events such as quarterly release and product planning sessions to enhance team and value stream performance.
- Coach Engineering and Product leads in effective Portfolio Management, using metrics to drive improvements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies focused on systems, workstreams, and value streams.
- Utilize enterprise tools like Atlassian Agile Portfolio Management for effective forecasting and reporting.
- Lead cross-team dependency management to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.
- Mentor Product leads in roadmap creation and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Champion Agile maturity initiatives, guiding teams through health assessments and improvement activities.
- Lead Community of Practice sessions to share knowledge and enhance our Lean-Agile practices.
- Facilitate cross-team discussions to address dependencies and enable smoother workflow.
- What you'll bring with you:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with over 12 years in relevant roles, including 6-8 years of enterprise Agile coaching with matrixed teams.
- Proven background as a Scrum Master or Agile/Kanban Coach with successful team coaching experience.
- Certifications such as PSM I & II, PSPO I & II, CSM, CSPO.
- Strong communication skills capable of conveying agility concepts effectively across all levels.
- Ability to adapt and blend agile frameworks to suit organizational needs.
- Excellent relationship-building abilities and a proactive approach complemented by organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage and inspire collaboration across teams.
- A technical, cloud, or data background. A technical coach would be a great asset to our team!

An Agile Coach at Broadcom is responsible for empowering teams and leadership in their adoption and mastery of Agile and Lean methodologies. **Responsibilities**
+ Empowers the organization to adapt, collaborate and maximize value creation
+ Understands the core Agile frameworks and adapts them for effective delivery, driven by each frameworks principles and values
+ Coaches continuous planning and delivery at Value Stream and Solution levels
+ Grasps business context (organization, industry, competitors, Broadcom/customer challenges) to understand how teams deliver value, supporting APMs and Product Managers
+ Serves as Scrum Master for teams, encompassing all related responsibilities
+ Embraces a coaching mindset: beliefs, values, and attitudes for effective individual/system interaction
+ Understands and utilizes different coaching stances and techniques (powerful questions, clean language, reflection, etc)
+ Mentors Scrum Masters and other coaches by sharing expertise and experiences
+ Hosts teaching events: New Hire Agile training, role-based training (Product Owner, Kanban, Story/Feature writing), and can design/build training sessions
+ Focuses on quarterly goals at Value Stream and Solution levels, ensuring alignment with team-level goals.
+ Regularly attends meetings at VS and solution levels
+ Leads and guides Scrum Masters, serving as a mentor, teacher, and sharing Lean/Agile expertise relevant to their specific situations
+ Facilitates development and learning across the organization through individual and team coaching
+ Coaches leadership and teams on the use of metrics and other objective measures
+ Promotes a culture of continuous improvement
+ Guides Scrum Masters and teams on how to stay on track with agile techniques, tailoring their approach to each team or situation
Required skills and qualifications
+ Bachelors degree in computer science or global equivalent in a related field
+ Typically 12 or more years of experience in an Agile Software Development environment or a related field
+ Subject matter expert in scrum, kanban, and lean principles
+ Experience working and coaching in an agile environment
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

**Additional Job Description:**
**Compensation and Benefits**
The annual base salary range for this position is $127,100 - $203,400
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAFe Scrum Master to support data-focused initiatives within our Retail Banking division. This role will guide Agile teams delivering projects across data validation, data lineage, data transformation, and ETL processes. The Scrum Master will serve as a servant leader and coach, ensuring teams remain aligned with business priorities, deliver high-quality solutions, and adhere to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles.
Responsibilities :- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) and SAFe Program Increment (PI) events.
- Coach and mentor Agile teams on SAFe practices, Agile mindset, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with strategic business goals.
- Remove impediments, manage risks, and escalate blockers to enable efficient team delivery.
- Support data-related projects with emphasis on:
- Data Validations: Ensuring accuracy and consistency across data pipelines.
- Data Lineage: Maintaining traceability and transparency of data flows.
- Data Transformations & ETL: Guiding delivery teams in building scalable and efficient data integration solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to align data requirements from source systems such as CRM, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses.
- Monitor and report on team performance, velocity, and key delivery metrics.
- Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and trust across cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in data-related or technology projects.
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or higher-level SAFe certification (e.g., SASM, RTE).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SAFe practices.
- Experience working with data-focused projects (ETL, data validation, data lineage, data transformation).
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and related architectures.
- Background in Retail Banking or Financial Services.
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance-driven data initiatives.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
