+ Be in constant communication with drivers to evaluate route progress and make sure they have all necessary information.
+ Evaluate and escalate driver performance issues or concerns for resolution.
+ Understand route sequencing to drive efficiency.
+ Respond to missed pickups and service commitments by scheduling customers accordingly.
+ Evaluate and educate drivers regarding missed pickups and develop strategies to avoid any future missed pickup failures.
+ Create routes with maximized capacity and review loads per driver per day goals to maximize profitability.
+ Monitor daily routing activities and resolve issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time. Evaluate and assess need for swing routes and verify all swing opportunities have been identified.
+ Analyze trends in swing percentage to identify improvement opportunities.
+ Ability to expect the unexpected and monitor and adjust today and tomorrow's plans throughout the day.
+ Understand daily disposal plans to help identify optimal disposal sites for each load to hold drivers accountable to adhering to the assigned disposal sites.
+ Meet to discuss disposal plans and recommendations with the Operations Manager and make updates if any intercompany or 3rd party changes occur.
+ Determine if service requests can be pulled forward to drive efficiency while also providing the best experience for our customers.
+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
**CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE:**
+ Courteously interact with customers, as required.
+ Route design is the first defense against customer service issues, and non-compliance from both hours of service and weight compliance standpoint. Routes must be set up in a way that allows drivers to be safe, successful, and efficient.
+ Analyze and prioritize the promises that we make to customers to ensure that these customers are serviced, and our promises are kept.
+ Call Center communication must be updated daily. Continual assessments and communications are required to reduce missed pickups and improve the communication channel between the division and the customers.
+ Evaluate route issues that may cause delays and utilize the tools available to communicate to the impacted customers.
+ Continually review routing media to process service exceptions/general messages/extra services information in order to meet the customer's needs.

Description
Our client is seeking a strategic Manager, Business Systems Analysts to lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of BSAs. This leader will oversee efforts to analyze, document, and enhance complex business processes and systems that support core operational objectives. The ideal candidate is a proactive and collaborative leader with a proven track record of building impactful teams, driving cross-functional alignment, and delivering scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
+ Lead, mentor, and empower a team of Business Systems Analysts to achieve high performance and collaboration.
+ Define team goals and KPIs aligned with organizational priorities.
+ Provide continuous coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
+ Promote knowledge sharing, cross-training, and role coverage to strengthen team agility and resilience.
Strategic Planning & Execution
+ Oversee resource planning, project prioritization, and workload management to ensure timely delivery.
+ Establish and uphold best practices, tools, and documentation standards for business analysis.
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to define actionable requirements that align with strategic goals.
+ Contribute to roadmap development and planning for business systems and technology initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration
+ Serve as a trusted partner to business, engineering, QA, and PMO teams.
+ Ensure BSAs maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal and external partners.
+ Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, translating business needs into scalable solutions.
Operational Excellence & Governance
+ Drive continuous improvement in processes, documentation, and stakeholder satisfaction.
+ Ensure all business requirements, workflows, and system documentation are accurate and up to date.
+ Enforce compliance with internal policies, methodologies, and best practices.
+ Recommend and influence process or policy changes to enhance efficiency and team effectiveness.
Team Enablement & Accountability
+ Equip BSAs to serve as subject matter experts in their respective domains.
+ Set clear expectations, monitor progress, and ensure accountability for deadlines and quality standards.
+ Recognize and reward contributions while addressing performance challenges promptly.
+ Lead the hiring and onboarding of new team members.
Requirements
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Math, or related discipline-or equivalent work experience.
+ 7+ years of progressive experience in software development, project management, or business systems analysis.
+ 3+ years in a leadership capacity managing teams of Business Systems Analysts (minimum of 3-4 direct reports).
+ Experience eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements.
+ Proven ability to manage teams utilizing structured analysis, project planning, data modeling, and resource management.
+ Strong background overseeing analysis and design of multi-tier business applications.
+ Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across Business, Development, and QA functions.
+ Expertise in enterprise application environments such as ERP, SaaS, Finance, or other back-office systems (Java, J2EE, Web Services, etc.).
+ Experience with PeopleSoft Financial systems.
+ Hands-on experience with Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
+ Salesforce Administrator certification and cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.
+ Proficiency in SQL and SOQL with the ability to write and interpret queries across relational and Salesforce databases.
+ Familiarity with DB2, Oracle, or similar relational database systems.
+ Demonstrated record of initiative, productivity, and managing competing priorities.
+ Experience managing full project lifecycles and development cycles using tools such as MS Project, Visio, and JIRA (Subversion preferred).
