As part of a matrix organization within the Global Engineering team, responsible for delivery of cross category engineering and technology projects, to include work on elaboration, implementation and execution of technical projects (including product projects when required). Offer ongoing Engineering support to factories within the GSC manufacturing footprint with special emphasis on Americas region.

**Job Overview**

Key Responsibilities:
**Team Leadership & Project Oversight**
+ Lead, manage, and develop a team of engineers conducting:
+ Short circuit analysis
+ Arc flash hazard analysis
+ Load flow and reliability studies
+ Overcurrent device coordination

+ Oversee start-up, commissioning, acceptance testing, and maintenance of electrical power systems.

**Technical Guidance & Quality Assurance**

+ Ensure documentation, reports, and test results are accurate and comply with regulatory and client requirements.
**Customer & Stakeholder Engagement**
+ Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, addressing project requirements and technical issues for the Power Group.
+ Collaborate with Regional Managers to align team performance with organizational goals.
+ Foster strong customer relationships through excellent service, professional conduct, and clear communication.
**Training & Safety Compliance**
+ Promote a culture of safety and compliance with all company, customer, and OSHA regulations.
+ Support the ongoing training and certification efforts for team members, including NETA certification and software training (ETAP, SKM, RTS, Doble).
+ Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (master's preferred).
+ Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
+ At least 10 years in electrical power systems engineering with leadership experience.
+ Proficient in SKM Power Tools, ETAP, AutoCAD, and protection analysis software.
+ Strong understanding of power distribution (low to high voltage), RTS, Doble Pro Suite, and familiarity with NETA/NICET standards.
+ Willingness to travel up to 50% as required by project and team support needs.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience managing engineering field teams or technical project teams.
+ Knowledge of technical scopes of work, bills of materials, and system specifications.
+ Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.

**Position Overview:**
ITW CCNA is seeking a Sustaining Engineering Manager to support current and future products and manage the testing laboratory/facility. In this role, the Sustaining Engineering Manager will be responsible for driving and supporting current product initiatives such as supplier/material qualifications, product cost reductions, and on-going quality verification. Additionally, this role is responsible for managing the Lake Forest test laboratory which includes driving a culture of safety, scheduling and executing testing, and improving lab efficiencies.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Develop and execute test plans for current-product support initiatives including, but not limited to, new material and/or process qualification and validation of product performance due to supplier change and/or cost reduction efforts. Product testing should be in accordance with ASTM, ICC, UL, or other applicable standards.
+ Drive and execute on-going product quality verification.
+ Utilize lab resources to support CBI development.
