Career Opportunity Description:
This position is a member of eHealth Technologies' Medical Operations team which plays a pivotal role in delivering critical patient information as requested by customers. The Medical Imaging Specialist - Level 1 plays a key role in the accomplishment of eHealth Technologies business objectives by providing their customers exceptional value and timely information. The person will work in a global, dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented work environment that is guided by and always upholds company core values.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Responds professionally and in a timely manner to all inbound calls received.
2. Provides effective & efficient support to all accounts, appropriately prioritizing work to support team goals.
3. Is proficient in outreach and fulfillment activities and supports the team with these activities based upon team needs (i.e. backlog, call-offs, etc.).
4. Ensures customer imaging requests are processed in a timely and accurate HIPAA compliant manner maintaining appropriate documentation.
5. Completes Entry Level Processing, traveling and outreach accurately and in a timely manner.
6. Responsible for Image Recognition on viewer/unicron (QA)
7. Pulls reports from Imaging CDs or other files in the patient's folder
8. Responds professionally and in a timely manner to all inbound calls received.
9. May also undertake additional activities at the request of the customer.
10. Proactively addresses and elevates customer service issues to Operations Manager.
11. Adheres to established business processes, policies, and regulations.
12. Ensures all policies and procedures are followed appropriately with emphasis on strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
13. Recommends improvements to procedures, workflows, and processes.
14. Performs at a high level of quality to eliminate the potential for incorrect transfer of Patient Health Information.
15. Maintains a high state of training and performance and is properly certified on all necessary processes.
16. Maintains effective communication and good relationships
17. Proactively monitors request activity and takes necessary action to avert potential customer service issues.

Requirements
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required. AAS degree in related field preferred.
- Customer service experience required.
- Medical records experience preferred.
- Able to meet or exceed both quality and performance goals, including successful proficiency level achievement in all other core competencies.

- Proficient in all aspects of PC utilization including MS office (ie., Outlook, Word, etc.).

a. As eHealth Technologies' workforce occasionally allows teleworking due to travel or other extenuating circumstances, when teleworking remotely from home or during travel, it is a requirement of the position that employees have the following minimum requirements available:
i. A private workspace the meets the requirements of the Teleworking Security (HITRUST-21) Policy
ii. A home internet network that meets the requirements of Teleworking Security (HITRUST-21) Policy, including:
1. A router that must achieve minimum speeds of 100MBPS for download and 10MBPS for upload, or any other higher speed required for the work to be produced contingent upon your role.
2. Availability of at least two (2) Ethernet connections in the router to the internet source is required (for your PC and phone).
3. Workstation should be plugged directly into the router as a hardwire connection to high-speed internet is critical to maintaining approved speeds for optimal functioning of various operational hardware, software and tools, as required for work performance; an appropriate Wi-Fi connection may satisfy this connection to high-speed internet.
4. Router should be updated regularly with latest firmware, or ultimately replaced if router speeds are not within the minimum specifications above.

The Medical Imaging Specialist is responsible for providing CT and MR imaging expertise for the client's 3D modeling service and operation team. This includes performing initial inspection of CT and MR scans received for 3D model segmentation, providing in-process consultation for segmentation technicians, and performing final QC for segmented 3D models to ensure delivery of high-quality 3D models to customers for use in patient education, pre-operative planning and intra-operative reference. Additional functions of the position are described herein.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience with a University degree, or 6 years of experience with a Master's degree, with a clinical focus area related to medical imaging (CT and MR) interpretation, or 3 years of clinical experience with a registered radiologic assistant (RRA) degree.
- Familiar with CT and MR scanning protocols (thoracic, abdominal and pelvic).
- Experience with case management in a clinical setting, including operational efficiencies in clinical trials and effective communications with clinicians.

- Provide in-process consultation for segmentation technicians. This includes providing imaging interpretation and checking segmentation accuracy.
- Perform final QC for segmented 3D models prior to delivery. This includes ensuring the final 3D models are displayed correctly in the App viewer and that the final 3D models meet customer expectations.

Cath Lab Specific:The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific:
The VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound.

- Radiologic technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventionalist in specific area as described above in summary for each area.
- Greet patients upon arrival to department. Check chart for required data (i.e., informed consent). Report absences or abnormalities to RN/physician. Explain procedures, give instructions, and answer patients' questions. Participate in room turnover and transporting of patients.
- Assist Radiation Safety officer in QA of labs and radiation protective apparel on regular basis. Perform tasks using radiation safety principles; check lead aprons for tears; report findings and remove inadequate gear from service; maintain accurate records or work with Radiology department to maintain records.
