We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join a manufacturing location in Fremont, NE. The ideal candidate will have quality experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that products are meeting quality standards through rigorous inspection, calibration and testing processes.


Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, in process, and final inspections and tests which includes but is not limited to inspection of intricate castings, components, instruments and apparatus, and large and expensive machines or equipment to ensure conformance with design specification and various quality and industry standards.
  • Aid with development of inspection instructions/requirements, gages, devices, procedures, and monitoring of their application.
  • Create and maintain CMM programs.
  • Perform calibration, CMM inspection, surface plate inspection layouts, and other material and process analysis as needed.
  • Participate in such quality improvement activities as root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action.
  • Perform department lead duties as required.
  • Perform and process inspection and calibration activities at an acceptable rate.
  • Maintain acceptable attendance record, acceptable overall work record, and purchase the required tools for the classification.
  • Perform training activities as required.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions per established processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of CMM programming and operation.
  • Demonstrated ability adhere to quality standards and perform basic prescribed inspections using a variety of measurement gages and testing equipment
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, and company and industry specific specifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs including but not limited Excel, and Word.

A medical device client in the Clear Lake area is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team. This position is responsible for performing incoming inspections on raw components used during manufacturing of in-process subassemblies and finished products. The products they manufacture are Neuromodulation devices and Cardiopulmonary devices.
This is all incoming components for our clients' devices they manufacture. 90% of product that comes into their building is required to go through inspections for confirmation for specifications of the vendors. The equipment that they use varies. Calibers, micrometers, gauges, and some visual tools. An inspection can take a whole day for one part, because they are tedious and detailed. Each item has its own specifications sheet that the team has to follow strictly step by step. It's tedious and they must be quality focus, patient and have attention to detail.
PRIMARY ACTIVITIES
- Inspects or tests components and raw material according to written inspection procedures
- Inspects electronic or mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and component parts for compliance with acceptance criteria as defined by specifications, drawings, samples, or illustrations
- Examines units visually, with microscope or other magnifying device, to determine physical defects according to written inspection procedures.
- Compares assemblies with drawings, parts lists, illustrations, and/or samples to verify conformance and detect assembly errors
- Examines the alignment of parts and verifies installation of hardware on assemblies and subassemblies
- Measures parts for conformance to specified dimensions using measuring instruments or equipment

- Coordinates calibration of all test equipment and fixtures
- Monitors critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration
- Identifies and controls nonconforming material and defective products until the material has been quarantined
- Responsible for identifying, evaluating, recording, and initiating correction or prevention of quality related problems
- Responsible for identifying and controlling nonconforming material and defective products by segregation or product identification
- Performs other duties as may be required by management

- Authorized to accept or reject materials / product based upon conformance to acceptance criteria

- High school graduate or equivalent
- Exposure to ISO/FDA regulations, Quality Inspection Techniques and Workmanship Standards
- 2+ years of experience with QA experience / quality control / inspection
- Proficiency in MS Office (basic)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Medical device or Aerospace industry experience Metrology skills, optical comparator use, metric ability, inspection, and instrumentation experience, visual measuring equipment i.e. Keyence, Micro-vue.

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a detail-oriented **QA Inspector** to join our client's manufacturing team in **Spring City, PA** . In this critical role, you'll ensure every product meets strict quality standards and specifications. This is a **temp-to-hire (3-month)** opportunity with strong potential for long-term growth and stability.
+ **Pay** = $20-25/hour
+ **Shift** = 1st shift
**What You'll Be Doing**
You'll be the frontline of quality assurance, performing key inspections and audits across the production process. Responsibilities include:
+ Conducting first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
+ Executing Layered Process Audits (LPAs)
+ Using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, height stands) to measure and inspect parts
+ Performing random and 100% inspections as required - recording results
+ Supporting ISO 9001 internal audits and the company's quality management system
+ Maintaining calibration schedules and quality records
**Qualifications - What You Bring to the Table**
**Required:**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Minimum 2 years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and using inspection tools
+ Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
+ Strong attention to detail and communication skills
+ Ability to work in a hands-on, physical role
**Preferred:**
+ Experience with ERP systems (Oracle a plus)
+ Prior forklift operation experience
