Job Description:

Scope of Work

The candidate will be responsible for completion of assigned duties and report to the Team Lead. The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions:
• Analyze data and reporting requirement for various facets of post-execution activities for fixed income (fixed and floating rate bonds, MBS, ABS), derivatives (futures, options, swaps), and cash products (repo, Money-market, FX).
• Must be able to independently analyze current reports to understand them in conjunction to the new data semantics and document the updated requirements.
• Work with IT teams to facilitate design solutions that meet business needs.
• Use analytical skills to learn users' business processes, document the data and report needs and suggest long term solutions.
• Develop test plans and conduct testing to ensure reports meet business requirements
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.

4. Skill Set Requirements
• Experience with programing, quantitative, and analytical skills, including with Cloud, Dremio will be a plus.
• Familiarity with business-related IT development or IT technology projects, also with user acceptance testing and its related documentation. Previous exposure to FinTech related knowledge is preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of Capital & Investment Markets and Portfolio Performance Measurement and Attribution.
• Understanding of Murex data and ability to analyze requirement for end user reports.

Various streams of market data come from different vendors like Reuters / Bloomberg into the Treasury systems like Murex.
These market data consists of 4 different fields namely - Index , Currency, Term and Rate.
The Bank users will configure the market data w.r.to Curve definition, Term specification etc.

Secondary Skill:

Python Scripting with Numpy and Panda

JD:
In the Asset control team, the resource has to analyze the incoming market data in terms of their term, Curve classification, Ask/Bid rate and other meta data and flag the data in different pools in Murex.
Based on that info, he has to run different scripts (ETL / Python) and generate files in different formats. It will be then shared into different consumers like CMD Murex, IBRD Murex, IFC Murex, OneView etc.
Erroneous market data will be reported along with logs in the asset control team. The resource also has to monitor the storage of these data in Murex Database and run batches for other downstream consumption.

Job Summary:

This Analyst role in the Global Financial Crimes Division of MUFG Bank, Ltd. ("GFCD") will report to the Vice President, GFCD Issues Management ("IM") Reporting & Analysis Team ("VP"). The Analyst will support the VP and the team in leading the coordination and delivery of financial crimes compliance issues program in accordance with the Global Financial Crimes Compliance Escalation and Issue Management Standard, for MUFG locations globally including:

• Identification of responsive issues management data and information.

• Research and coordination with appropriate stakeholders to provide the most accurate information possible in support of these engagements.

• Development of data, analyses, and presentation materials.

In addition to GFCD, the position will also support Americas Compliance and Core Compliance IM data analysis and reporting activities. The candidate must have excellent data processing and communication skills and be able to contribute to the overall advancement and integration of core program objectives across the global Issues Management Department.

Major Responsibilities:

• Gain familiarity with the MUFG financial crimes compliance framework, including the roles of Internal Audit and Compliance Testing.

• Develop an understanding of global Anti-Money Laundering ("AML"), Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption ("ABC") regulatory regimes.

• Develop subject matter expertise regarding Issues Management ("IM") policy, standard, and procedures.

• Develop partnerships with stakeholders to drive implementation of end-to-end GFCD Issues Management processes and procedures.

• Support the IM Operations Regulatory & Audit Reporting Coordination Team to develop repeatable, standardized, and sustainable reporting and analyses processes.

• Support the GFCD IM Reporting & Analysis Team to provide the most accurate information possible in support of these engagements, including the development of data, analyses, and presentation materials.

• Create/ maintain detailed process documentation for GFCD IM Reporting & Analysis Team processes.

• Support the Director, GFCD and Americas Compliance Issues Management and the Director of IM Operations in program development and execution, working with other members of the Issues Management team on strategic and operational enhancement.

Qualifications:

• 0 - 3 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in Compliance, Risk Management or related areas.

• Proficiency/ Advanced Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with other data management or data visualization tools is preferred.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $64k-$78k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
