The Integrated Development Office (IDO) seeks to hire a senior-level, NH-04 Information Technology Management professional at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. This position will be part of the AFLCMC team, responsible for IT architecture activities within an assigned functional capability area to develop integrated solutions for the future design.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the organization’s IT team, providing technical direction, task prioritization, and professional development.
- Evaluate existing IT architecture for performance, scalability, and security gaps; develop actionable modernization recommendations.
- Design and oversee implementation of network, compute, and storage solutions supporting unclassified, classified, and cross-domain operations.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure designs meet Zero Trust, RMF, and STIG compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain architectural roadmaps, system diagrams, and configuration baselines.
- Oversee the IT budget, including planning, forecasting, execution, and reporting; ensure fiscal accountability and alignment with mission objectives.
- Track emerging technologies, tools, and standards to recommend innovative solutions that improve performance, resilience, and security.
Air Force Materiel Command Integrated Development Office (AFMC IDO) is a new organization, encompassing mission engineering, concept development, and planning for development. The IDO will work with the Systems Centers and AFRL to ensure continuous pipelines of competitive technology development, and with the Program Executive Officers (PEOs) to structure execution-ready Programs-of-Record for transition to, and management by, the PEOs and Program Offices within the AFMC Systems Centers.

PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS: 3 - Moderate: This class requires that the incumbent stand or walk most of the time with bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, reaching, working on irregular surfaces, occasional lifting of objects weighing over 25 pounds, and frequent lifting of 10-25 pounds.
Successful candidates must provide the following three (3) documents during the hiring process:
