Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Code, test, debug, and document software applications while collaborating with a team to manage and develop microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud that support T-Mobile's new modernized APIs developing for NorthStar architecture that serve all the frontends.

  • Analyze solution documents to understand requirements and create Integration Design Documents (IDD) and Swagger documentation for RESTful APIs to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.

  • Develop and test microservices using Spring Framework and JEE, and assist with deploying applications using Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Helm in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

  • Create and manage API proxies using Apigee to enhance API performance and security, while monitoring application logs to identify and troubleshoot issues.

  • Conduct unit and integration testing to validate the functionality and performance of developed microservices, ensuring high-quality output and maintainability.

Specific Skills Requirement - must have educational or professional experience in:

  • Experience coding with Core Java concepts, including Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, Exception Handling, Serialization, Java I/O (NIO), Generics, Lambda Expressions, Streams API, and JDBC.

  • Experience with SQL databases including MySQL or PostgreSQL. Experience coding with NoSQL databases including MongoDB, Cassandra and Couchbase.

  • Experience coding with frameworks including Hibernate and JPA to implement business logic, access and manage data efficiently, and ensure optimized data retrieval and manipulation.

  • Experience in developing Microservices using the REST framework and Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, service discovery, configuration management, API gateway functionalities, OAuth 2.0, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, AWS SNS and AWS SQS to implement robust authentication and authorization, as well as synchronous and asynchronous flow of data between services.

  • Experience using OpenAPI, Apigee, and Envoy API management platforms. Experience with Kibana, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana and OTEL for documenting, securing, monitoring, and analyzing logs to ensure observability and efficient troubleshooting of microservices.

  • Experience using JUnit5, Mockito, TestNG, Rest Assured, DataManager, Cucumber, WireMock, Postman and SoapUI to test applications.

  • Experience writing Python scripts utilizing NumPy for data analysis and integrated frameworks including Pandas for data manipulation. Experience writing Python scripts utilizing Matplotlib or comparable tools including Seaborn, Plotly for visualization, to monitor API health, generate comprehensive reports on performance metrics including response times and error rates, and present actionable insights to leadership while collaborating with teams to align findings with organizational goals.

  • Experience with MuleSoft (Mule 4) features, including DataWeave, API Designer, and components including HTTP, File, SMTP, FTP, SFTP, JDBC Connector and Transaction Manager to create the microservice.

  • Experience automating the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) process to deploy applications in both on-premises environments and the AWS Cloud using version control tools including GIT and deployment tools including Docker, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, and AWS services including ECS (Elastic Container Service), EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), CloudFormation and Terraform.

Compensation Description (annually): The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194,000 - $355,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Software Engineers (New York, NY)- Design and develop complex architecture for banking software, including platform component architecture, data flow architecture, platform component integration, and platform scalability and reliability design using Ab-initio GDE, Teradata, Unix Shell Scripting, Autosys; Coordinate with business users to extract, transform and load (ETL) requirements using Cloudera, Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Hive; Design and develop rules based on regulatory requirements using Ab Initio Business Rules Environment (BRE); Implementation of ETL changes and maintain high throughput and performance using Big Data, HDFS; Create SQL scripts and procedures in Oracle 10g/11g for data manipulation and background processing using PL SQL; Provide support for automated unit and integrate tests for all functional changes; Perform unit testing and system testing.

Job Description

SOFTWARE ENGINEERS:
Involve in detailed analysis of new requirements and prepare Technical Design Review document using C#, C++, and VC++. Design and implement Graphical User Interface (GUI) according to the requirement and implement using QT framework, Python and XML. Implement DICOM features, report generation and integrate information systems PACS, RIS and HIS. Implement a service application to support reupload the GE IW server rejected image due to DB issues using Sybase, MS SQL. Work on unit test framework using gtest, enhancing robustness and ensuring test coverage using WPF, Linux, and Git. Resolve critical customer reported defects having less turnaround time. Analyze and resolve critical project porting issues to visual studio 2015. Fixed/Ensure the code quality by Static analysis using Coverity, UT coverage using bullseye. Master's degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering (any); Business Administration is required. Work location: Branchburg, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
