Essential Functions:

+ Execute manufacturing objectives and strategies to meet completion goals while achieving results utilizing ethical and fair business practices.

Qualifications:

The Office of Entrepreneurship & Commercialization (OEC) is actively seeking an intern for Fall 2025 to contribute to various entrepreneurship programs within the dynamic framework of Invent Penn State. Reporting directly to the Business Systems Analyst of the OEC, this part-time position involves providing essential support to both new and ongoing entrepreneurship initiatives.

This part-time position is responsible for supporting new and existing entrepreneurship programs through varied activities including administrative support, program data collection, online research, and working with cloud-based tools including Microsoft 365 Suite, Salesforce and Jira. Projects supported include OEC's initiatives and programs such as the Startup Leadership Network and Research Commercialization team, Penn State's network of LaunchBoxes & Innovation Hubs and the Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program (PennTAP). The ideal candidate should be a self-starter possessing an entrepreneurial mindset, experienced or willing to learn online CRM and project management tools, detail- and process-oriented, able to question and volunteer insight, willing to be a team collaborator and learn from others, excellent with written and verbal communication, and able to set and meet deadlines. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist with the planning and execution of cloud-based projects within the Office of Entrepreneurship & Commercialization, related to their area of expertise and study. The exact scope of the work may be customized to academic goals and desired learning outcomes. Compensation for this position is $17.00 per hour.
