As a Strategic Planning and Foresight Analyst you will be responsible for building, supporting and maintaining GAOs environmental scanning and foresight program.
DutiesAs a Strategic Planning and Foresight Analyst, PT0343-2 your typical work assignments may include the following:
- Supports GAOs strategic planning efforts, including preparing and updating GAOs multi-year strategic plan and related products in various media; coordinating with GAOs strategic goal liaisons, trend paper leads, goal integrators, planners, units/teams in preparing the planning and reporting documents; defining and aligning plans with overall institutional strategic goals, key efforts and performance measures; quality checking the strategic plan; and issuing communication about the plans publication.
- Use strategic planning and foresight outcomes to help inform cross-agency initiatives, management of GAO advisory entities, and strengthen capacities of domestic and international accountability partners.
- Manage, edit, contribute to and distribute foresight and environmental scanning communications to internal audiences.
- Build and maintain a tracking system to monitor the results of strategic foresight and environmental scanning processes to assist in GAOs organizational and strategic planning efforts.
