What you'd be doing:

• Assist in preparing presentations for business leaders and conduct presentations as needed.
• Work with key stakeholders from Actuarial, Sales & Marketing, and Program Ops teams to implement business strategies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Math, Statistics, Data/Business Analytics, Actuarial Science or other relevant quantitative field of study OR Bachelor's degree in any field of study plus prior experience.
• 1-2 years of insurance experience in an analytical capacity.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong technical skills; proficiency in R is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with at least intermediate skills in Excel.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency with data analysis software like R, SQL, Python, or Power BI.
• Ability to work independently given general direction and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities, providing accurate and timely results.
• Intellectual curiosity to learn and ability to ask insightful questions.
• Effective time management, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Effective communicator (verbal and written).
• Willingness to learn.
• To qualify, all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Highly preferred candidates also have:

• Previous experience in homeowners insurance is a plus.
• Familiarity in data science tools and available systems (SQL, R, PowerBi or similar) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Shiny.
• Has pricing or prior product management experience.

Job DescriptionThe Care Management Assistant (CMA), functions as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team with guidance from the nurse case managers, social workers and utilization review nurses. The CMA provides broad scale administrative, project, and operations support to the Center for Care Coordination inpatient teams, within the hospital setting. In addition, this position works closely with the Case Management, Social Work and Utilization Review staff to provide discharge planning assistance to RN Case Managers and Social Workers.
