Summary:
In this role, you will perform complex analyses functions supporting a large hospital system in various capacities. You will conduct complex financial analysis, including pricing, rebates, administrative fees to identify savings opportunities. You will provide expertise in analyzing data, finding solutions to complex data requests, managing projects, and embracing constant change. You will also interact with department management, teams, internal customers, reporting data interpretations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintains data sets and perform ad hoc analysis to address inquiries and resolve anomalies.
- Analyze line item data submitted by the members to determine current product usage & cost through data mining, cross-referencing, and pricing application, incorporating contract details, benchmarking and clinical considerations
- Communicate savings and cost reduction initiatives to the Spend Manager/Spend Management Lead in spreadsheet documents, presentations, meeting participation and one-on-one conversations
- Interpret report results based on market and product knowledge
- Consult with Spend Manager/Spend Executive to gather requirements for new requests and determine the appropriate analytical solution
- Identify trends and performance levels for metrics based on established benchmarks or create benchmarks using standard or customized approaches.
- Design and create charts, graphs, tables and reports to support findings and develop recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel highly preferred.
- Strong written, verbal communication, project management, and presentation skills highly preferred.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $51,900.00 to $87,900.00. This position is also incentive eligible.

Overview The Director of Asset Management; Electrical Test Equipment is responsible for developing and executing strategic asset management programs for all specialized testing, diagnostic, and maintenance equipment used in the electrical power industry. This role ensures the availability, reliability, and regulatory compliance of field equipment assets, while optimizing lifecycle cost and supporting operational performance across multiple regions. Shermco Industries is seeking a Director of Asset Management; Electrical Test Equipment. Responsibilities Asset Strategy & Lifecycle Management Develop and implement a comprehensive Asset Management strategy for low, medium and high-voltage Testing and Maintenance Equipment (e.g., test sets for batteries, circuit breakers, transformer oil, insulation resistance, current transformers, grounding, cable, IR cameras, ohmmeters). Oversee the full lifecycle of equipment assets—from procurement and deployment to maintenance, calibration, and retirement. Operational Excellence Ensure all equipment is tested, maintained, calibrated, and documented according to industry standards (NETA, OSHA, IEEE) and specific customer requirements. Collaborate with field operations, engineering, and safety teams to prioritize equipment availability and readiness for outage work, testing cycles, and emergencies. Partner with Operations, Finance, Quality and company Executives to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives, performance targets, and reporting Fleet Optimization & Data Management Lead initiatives to digitize asset inventory / tracking, using systems to monitor utilization, condition, maintenance calibration, and performance metrics. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure all equipment meets regulatory, safety, customer and insurance standards. Responsibilities: Interact with providers, contracted vendors and distributors as necessary to assist account management in the resolution of vendor pricing issues. Send price management discrepancy summary emails weekly. Pull customer requested price management reports and provide training and guidance regarding these reports as needed. Serve as a liaison for all contract data issues regarding pricing, units of measure, manufacturers, catalog numbers, etc. Assist account management with identifying and processing custom pricing, contract enrollment, tier management and distribution mark-ups. Qualifications: Relevant degree preferred. 2 or more years of relevant experience required. Strong Excel and analytical skills required. Experience in designing/altering queries using SQL.
