We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes and work instructions in a small-batch job shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both CNC and manual machining processes and a passion for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze and understand production needs to develop efficient manufacturing processes.
+ Create and maintain job routers and work instructions.
+ Program CNC machines and optimize machining strategies for small-batch production.
+ Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
+ Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure seamless process integration.
+ Monitor and evaluate manufacturing performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
+ Support the training of production staff on new processes and equipment.
+ Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in a job shop or small-batch manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00/hr.

Primary Level Salary Range: $66,600.00 - $9,800.00

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
