**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a highly skilled and analytical **Pricing Manager** to join our team. The Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize profitability and competitiveness of our critical pursuits. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, cost structures, and client requirements to ensure our services are priced effectively.
The role will work across all business lines and geographies, integrating as necessary into Enterprise Critical Pursuit teams. The ideal candidate understands business fundamentals that include business development, client leadership, P&L, project delivery, and can convey innovative solutions. This role will report directly to the Strategic Pricing Director, Americas.
This will be a hybrid position including a combination of both remote and in-office, and can be located in, but not be limited to: Dallas, TX; Austin TX; Houston, TX; Denver CO
**Job Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:**
+ Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with the company's financial goals and market conditions.
+ Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitor pricing, and client needs.
+ Analyze cost structures and project budgets to determine optimal pricing models.
+ Create and maintain financial models to forecast pricing impacts and profitability.
+ Monitor pricing performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
+ Communicate pricing strategies and changes to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across departments.
+ Support the development of pricing related reports, procedures and guidelines.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience with price analysis, revenue management and/or other relevant financial experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Proven experience in developing and implementing successful pricing strategies
+ Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
+ In-depth knowledge of pricing methodologies, market dynamics, and competitive analysis
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Previous experience working in engineering consulting a plus
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
+ Good knowledge and understanding of revenue and costing principles.
+ Strong analytical and modelling skills
+ Expert-level skills in Excel and experience with pricing software
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Pricing Manager to lead and manage all pricing initiatives across our diverse sales channels, including Industrial, Retail, Amazon 1P and 3P, and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC). Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Partner Cost Schedules strategies tailored to each channel (Industrial, Retail, Amazon 1P/3P, DTC) to drive revenue growth and Margin Achievement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and eCommerce teams to align Partner Costing with business goals and channel-specific dynamics.

- Support contract negotiations with Key B2B Accounts by providing pricing insights and recommendations.
- Utilize pricing tools and analytics platforms to model scenarios and forecast Product Cost and Price impact to Margin and Profitability across Sales Channels.
- Continual review and analysis of Sales Channel Cost-to-Serve Expenses including but not limited to:B2B Rep Agency Commission Incentive and Rebate schedules, D2C Ad Spend (ROAS), Marketing ROAS, etc.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or channel strategy in a multi-channel environment.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (especially Amazon), retail dynamics, and industrial distribution models.

Role Purpose Statement

SMX is looking for a **Pricing Manager** to add to its growing pricing team. This is an exciting role for a highly experienced pricing professional with a strong GovCon services pricing background who is creative and a strategic thinker. Although supported by a strong and experienced pricing team, this role requires someone who can work independently and effectively. The right candidate will be responsible for the assessment of opportunity specific pricing requirements for both prime and subcontract activities, development of price proposals/cost volumes for both commercial and Federal Government proposals. The Pricing Manager will support all business groups in support of capture efforts, to include coordination with PTW/CI activities, and market assessments (local, regional, global offsets), and build-up and sustainment of commercial and federal price lists, as required. This role is 100% remote.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Lead pricing strategy and competitive pricing discussions, in collaboration with Capture, Business Operations, PTW/CI, and SMEs
+ Ability to properly interpret pricing requirements and support the capture and proposal teams in building and submitting compliant and competitive pricing proposals
+ Thorough understanding and ability to develop strategies based on various contract types
+ Collaborate with various managers in developing and maintaining proposal schedule integrity, and meeting all opportunity delivery deadlines
+ Provide training and assistance to proposal team members regarding BOE development (including early WBS/LOE generation and PTW alignment), proper justifications/rationale, and estimating techniques
+ Prepare Cost/Price volume narratives in full compliance of solicitation requirements
+ Facilitate functional and executive level reviews, prepare financial slides, and ensure compliance with company policies, processes, gates, and approvals (Gate and Color Reviews)
+ Provide post-proposal support to internal and external customers, as needed
+ Coordinate with contracts, subcontracts, and capture/proposal manager to support negotiation
**Required Skills/Experience**
+ MUST have GovCon services pricing experience
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12+ years of pricing assessment, analysis, and build up
+ Advanced MS Excel skills to include pivot tables, array formulas, and circular references
+ Strategic thinker, with experience in service-based pricing models
+ High level of knowledge with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other Federal Regulations
+ Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, computation skills and research skills (including pricing and material availability)
**Desired Skills/Experience**
+ Deltek Costpoint experience a plus
+ Ability to handle multiple pricing efforts concurrently.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with peers, management, proposal teams, and customers.
+ Willingness to work unscheduled/extended hours and travel as required to support deadlines.
