ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provide commercial real estate analysis and debt underwriting across all markets and property types

- Coordination with and/or management of various third-parties including servicers, borrowers, lenders, and construction consultants, amongst others

- Monitor performance of transitional/value-add operating properties including performing lease analysis, TI/LC and Renovation draw reviews, and loan covenant testing
- Complete quarterly asset updates for various assets

- Contribute to the oversight and mentorship of future junior staff members to support an expanding Asset Management platform
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree in Real Estate, Economics Finance or other related field required

Job DescriptionAs a member of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing's U.S. Asset Management team, the individual will play an integral role working with all senior staff members in fulfilling specific property and/or portfolio level responsibilities. Responsibilities will focus on providing analytical support for the asset management team utilizing Argus cash flow and Excel software.
Primary Responsibilities- Work directly with asset managers, leasing and property management teams on approximately 30 - 35 assets
- Prepare cash flow analyses, including: sensitivity analyses, quarterly cash flow models, annual asset valuations and in-depth valuation and hold/sell analyses
- Review and assist in preparation of budgets and preparation of strategic plans
- Analyze and review leases
- Prepare quarterly client reports
- Coordinate and review third-party independent appraisals as well as preparation of internal valuations

- Assist with acquisition and disposition due diligence and asset financings
- BA/BS required

Expected base pay rates for the role will be 110,000 - 120,000 per year at the commencement of employment. **Job Summary:**
As a Commercial Mortgage Loan Originator within J.P. Morgan Asset Management, you are responsible for sourcing, structuring, and negotiating new loans with the appropriate risk profile for various fund and separate account mandates. You will develop and manage sourcing relationships, make recommendations on prospective origination opportunities, prepare and negotiate term sheets and loan applications, and work with outside counsel to negotiate loan documents.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Originate a variety of loan types including floating rate, fixed rate mortgages, construction, development to perm and transitional with maturities of 5 to 30 years.
+ Pro-actively develop, foster and maintain strong regional relationships with owners, operators and developers of institutional quality commercial real estate assets as well as correspondent/brokers, mortgage bankers, and other sources of third-party commercial mortgage loan origination opportunities.
+ Prescreen qualify and price loans prior to the underwriting and closing process.
+ Successfully evaluating risk/return across the commercial real estate capital structure.
+ Oversee and coordinate with the underwriting team to prepare credit presentations for investment committee approval and participate in presentations to investment committee.
+ Work closely with structuring, closing and distribution/syndication team.
+ Monitor closed investment and maintain dialogue with borrowers.
+ Exhibit cooperation and teamwork to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
+ Collaborate with senior management to ensure best practices and consistent execution.
+ Be seen as a "role model" for the office staff and foster a collegiate and enthusiastic working environment
+ Monitor micro/macro CRE market conditions, attend CRE related conferences, visit markets covered, and further develop all direct distribution channels.
**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**
+ 10+ years of relevant experience.
+ Proven track record of originating floating and fixed rate loans.
+ Definable regional relationships with real estate brokers, key mortgage bankers, commercial banks, developers and investors, and other sources of third-party commercial mortgages.
+ Evaluate the risks associated with transactions and the ability to structure transactions to mitigate risks.
+ Strong organizational and underwriting skills and strong Argus.
+ Experienced in all aspects of property valuation, capital markets and financial analysis across all asset types (multifamily, retail, industrial, office, lodging, other).
+ Excellent professional reputation.
+ Excellent transaction management skills.
+ Strong and independent work ethic with an excellent attention to detail.
+ Collaborative personal/professional style that advances a collegial partnered approach to meeting corporate objectives.

**Job Summary**
As a Vice President on the Investor Relations team, you will significantly contribute to the Real Estate Americas investments marketing effort, working primarily with internal clients (investment specialists, portfolio managers, research, investment teams, and client advisors) and eventually with external clients. You will lead the investor relations effort for the US core real estate fund, an industry-leading core real estate fund, providing strategic oversight and leadership, executing on materials, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality materials and reporting.
