About the role

We are looking for bright QA automation engineers interested in ensuring the success of cutting-edge solutions to difficult problems in the autonomy space. Our QA engineers work across our suite of products, tackling difficult full-stack, robotics, and graphics problems as the last line of defense. At Applied Intuition, we encourage all engineers to take ownership over technical and product decisions, interact closely with users to collect feedback, and contribute to a thoughtful, dynamic team culture.

Please note that we are an in-office company, and this is an in-office role at our Mountain View office.
At Applied Intuition, you will:

• Create test scripts to automate the testing process and streamline overall design and performance verification testing
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and engineering managers to build detailed test programs for our products that push the frontier of AV software development
• Conduct and analyze test results and be responsible for critical performance of feature releases and updates
• Prioritize execution of test plans and procedures, and identify performance margins
• Own the sign-off of test results, analysis, and reports for ongoing improvements of testing requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software, Electrical, Physics, Mathematics, or similar engineering field
• General knowledge of software testing
• Good communication, organizational skills, and proactiveness
• High level of professionalism to nurture an ego-free culture

Nice to have:

• Prior experience with either AV simulation or vehicle simulation
• Hands-on experience testing, troubleshooting, or debugging complex software systems

Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.

Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.

Eaton's Electrical division is currently seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our System Test Technology team in Woodridge, IL. The Senior STG Engineer establishes best practices, methodology, strategies, automation framework development, and tools for System Test Group.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67,500 - $99,000 a year.

**What's the Job?**
+ Oversee the design and implementation of test strategies and frameworks for various applications.
+ Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, UFT, and Rest Assured.
+ Execute automated test cases and report on the results, analyzing test outcomes and identifying defects.
+ Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure alignment of test cases with project requirements.
+ Perform database testing and automated data validations using SQL and JDBC.
**What's Needed?**
+ Over 10 years of IT experience as a QA Automation Engineer in software Testing, proficient in Oracle Applications, Client/Server and Web based applications.
+ Expertise in performing Functional Testing, Integration Testing and Regression Testing
+ Design and Implement Test Strategies and Frameworks.
+ Test automation frameworks, including Page Objects, Keyword Driven, Data Driven, and Hybrid frameworks
+ Automated Test Scripting: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, UFT, LeanFT, Rest Assured, TestNG, ALM etc.
+ Specific Tool Expertise:
+ LeanFT: Develop robust and maintainable test automation solutions using LeanFT.
+ Rest Assured: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs and web services using Rest Assured.
+ UFT: Write automation scripts for manual test cases and maintain sanity and regression suites using UFT.
+ Selenium Java: Develop automated scripts and frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
+ Develop Test Scripts to implement Features, Test Scenarios and Step Definition for BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Cucumber (Gherkins format)
+ Responsible for developing the scripts to support Jenkins (Continuous Integration) of the scripts with the build server
+ Strong knowledge of SQL, perform Database Testing with SQL and automated Data Validations using JDBC
+ Test Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test cases and report on the results, including analyzing test outcomes and identifying defects.
