The MIL Corporation seeks a Travel Quality Assurance Analyst (Quality Assurance, Analyst) to support a Federal Government client in Charleston, SC. This role will be responsible for gathering and documenting travel business processes for an E-Government Travel System, performing analysis on financial and compensation systems, requirements gathering, authoring requirements documents, performing quality assurance testing, and analyzing and reporting the information necessary to support software releases through the project lifecycle.
This position currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.
This position is currently unfunded and is being posted in anticipation of a future contract award and funding approval. We are proactively identifying and engaging with qualified candidates. While candidates may be contacted for pre-screening, any hiring decisions will be contingent upon funding availability and final program requirements or client approval.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex problems, develop and document alternate solutions
- Perform and document results of "what-if" analysis
- Perform business and system requirements elicitation and analysis via user groups, interviews, regulatory research, etc.
- Draft requirements documents
- Draft design documents
- Draft proposals to resolve systems and business process issues
- Develop test plans, executing manual and automated test scripts and documenting results
- Work with clients to review test plans to verify adequate coverage of business processes and to ensure the business requirements are satisfied by the system
- Provide subject matter expertise on software functionality and business processes
- Provide product management deliverables to aid the project manager and team in establishing shared expectations for a successful project

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst (SQA) is responsible for supporting the planning, design, and execution of system testing of simple to complex notices on Common Noticing Solution (CNS). SQA will collaborate with business groups, the software development teams, and peer quality analysts with an Agile mindset to deliver high-quality software solutions on a fast-paced, nimble project. - Consistently uses established testing standards and testing protocols following the test plan to assure quality in testing deliverables.
- Review and understand notice specifications/functional and technical requirements of noticing solution to ensure that the requirements are testable.

THE WORK
This is a Level 2 Delivery & Sustainment Quality Representative position supporting the LM Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) F-35 Training Systems (TS) Sustainment Program at Eglin Air Force Base, FL.
The position will support the F-35 Level 1 Training Systems Support Center (TSSC 1) at Eglin AFB, FL, and interfaces with Level 1 TSSC Quality Lead at Eglin AFB, FL and the F-35 Training Systems Sustainment Quality Program Manager (QPM) in Orlando, FL on F-35 Training Systems Quality Assurance work tasks/priorities. This position will functionally report to the F-35 Training and Logistics Program Quality Engineering Senior Manager. The candidate will be expected to fairly quickly come-up to speed with the F-35 TS products, System/Software Quality work scope, technical requirements, program risks, and delivery milestone schedule.
This position is part of the TSSC 1 organization based at Eglin AFB, FL and includes responsibility for sustainment of F-35 training products and device change activity at multiple locations across the F-35 Training System enterprise. The selected candidate may be required to travel to other operational F-35 sites to support audits and installs.

SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.

Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, and test case automation as well as executing these tests.

Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.

Collecting and analyzing data for software process evaluation and improvements, integrating them into business processes to address the needs.

Documenting all identified problems and assisting in their resolution.

Delivering quality process training to technical staff and acting as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.

Performing quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed.

Creating a wide variety of technical publications including instructional materials, technical manuals, and product documentation for use by both the IT and business community.

Maintaining all project artifacts in accordance with standards and other documentation as necessary to ensure compliance and quality assurance.

Serving as a liaison with users to understand and translate their needs into quality assurance strategies.

Following a standard set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project artifacts.

Managing expectations of diverse stakeholders and providing regular briefings to executives on quality issues and outcomes.

Working independently and as part of a larger cross-functional team to ensure quality is maintained throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Assisting with project coordination, support, and documentation to maintain continuous quality improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or similar. Or equivalent work experience.

Demonstrated experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and methodology development.

Ability to document user stories and write business IT system requirements.

Experience coordinating business users, technical staff, and architects to analyze and define future needs and operations based on use case and analysis of alternatives.

In-depth knowledge of business process design and re-engineering.

Job Purpose:
As a member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be under direct supervision and will perform quality control audits, reviews, or monitoring of departmental operations functions including, but not limited to, claims, membership, customer service/call center, workflow, processing support systems, procedures, documentation. What You'll Do:
- Perform routine quality audits, reviews, or monitoring across various operations functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed.
- Recognize and document any potential fraud and abuse situations. May provide one on one guidance to new hires upon completion of initial training.
- Provide necessary feedback or coaching to operations and training areas on errors assessed so that additional training can be initiated as needed. Compile data and generate reports for operations areas on quality performance.
- Identify areas of weakness and communicate recommendations on changes and improvements to training materials. Document findings of analysis and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures or organizational changes.
- Assist with training documentation and development of new processes and procedures. Remain current with all guidelines, work instructions, etc.
To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need:
Required Education:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Work Experience:
- 1 year of related claims processing, customer service, auditing, training, analysis or operations experience.
