POSITION SUMMARY:
This position serves as an essential resource and subject matter expert in the continuous support of the company's ERP system to ensure user tickets are resolved in a timely fashion. The SAP Specialist writes scripts to develop reports and help with the ongoing development of training manuals, end-user documentation, technical guides, and other materials used to support the ongoing process continuation and improvement of our systems, processes, and end-user training library.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives direct supervision from management personnel; may assist other departmental employees in the performance of the job functions. This position does not supervise any position(s).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor the SAP ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of user tickets.
- Provide technical support to troubleshoot user errors.
- Organize, maintain and analyze SAP master data to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare data sets from outer sources for batch import into SAP.
- Perform SAP maintenance tasks such as validating business partners, items, and discount schedules.
- Develop on-demand reports for sales, accounting, customer service, and other departments as requested.
- Perform end-user training and develop training documentation such as help files and how-to guides.
- Maintain the SAP product library through working with marketing to ensure all product photos and descriptions are up to date.
- Develop troubleshooting documentation to be used internally by the SAP team.
- Process item request forms and engineering change notifications.
- Develop best practices newsletter.
- Support and or lead with other special projects as assigned.

- Bachelor Degree in Business or a Technical field or equivalent.
- 3 or more years of technical experience with SAP Business One or any other major ERP system.
- 2 or more years working with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve user errors and other technical issues.
- Experience with writing queries, developing reports and user guides, and technical documentation.
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office user.

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

At least 3 years of hands-on ERP application support in a corporate environment.

Familiarity with core finance, inventory, and logistics functions within ERP systems.

Experience managing user access and understanding of system controls.

Ability to troubleshoot both functional and technical issues with a structured approach.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for working across teams.

Comfortable balancing project work with day-to-day support needs.
