- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to be considered for this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (e.g., calculator, copy machine, printer).

- Requires a minimum of 6-8 years of experience and training in computer technology as well as providing internal and/or external customer technical support and service.
- Hands on networking experience required including ACL’s, routing and switching, NAC, SD-WAN, 802.1x, firewall management, IPSEC and remote access VPN’s, and security tools.
- Technology specific experience and certifications related to Cloud, Virtualization, Networking, Security, (e .g. Azure, Cisco, Microsoft, Nutanix, VMWare, Zscaler, etc.) is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in the field of technology is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills

NNSY's mission is to safely return warships to the Fleet on time and within budget. The NNSY CIO (Code 109) provides comprehensive IT and telecom support that maintains Fleet readiness in logistics, maintenance, engineering, supply, legal, readiness reporting, emergency response, and more. Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe System Administrator shall have demonstrated experience, which may include the following:

DescriptionMarkon's partner company is seeking multiple system administrators at various levels for our Fort Meade customer.
ResponsibilitiesThe following responsibilities and requirements for these roles are a general outline of minimum qualifications and only reflect the core competencies of the of the work. Seniority, scope of work, and position type are subject to change before the end of the interviewing process.
As a Systems Administrator, you may be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support, troubleshooting escalated issues and offering detailed analysis and feedback.
- Configure, manage, and maintain UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Perform system administration tasks, including SSHing into servers, executing commands via terminal, and managing access controls.
- Assist with power, space, and cooling submissions, as well as the hardware procurement process.
- Leverage Confluence and Jira for documentation, collaboration, and tracking system changes.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must have a TS/SCI FSP from this customer.
- 6-10 years of experience in system administration, IT support, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and Windows environments.
Preferred:
- IAT Level 2 and CWIP certifications required for certain roles; cybersecurity certifications preferred.
- Ability to develop technical documentation, system specifications, and requirements analysis.
- Familiarity of DODIN, RMF, NIST-800, and cyber security regulations
- Knowledge of networking, SSH tunneling, port forwarding, and remote server management.
- Experience troubleshooting enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including KVMs, Dell iDracs, and IP iLOs.
- Experience with hardware procurement, Power, Space, Cooling submissions, and RF system design.
Salary Range
USD $100,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
