Our **Senior Zone Technology Experts** provide expertise on automation, security, or fire products and systems and third-party systems to zone staff, as well as deliver training and technical support for field technicians and specialists and provide advanced technical assistance for sales activities.
**As a** **Senior** **Zone Technology Expert, you will**
+ Provides product expertise to zone staff for Fire Sprinkler Systems and Water Based applications
+ Provides training and technical support to field technicians and inspectors. Provides on-site technical troubleshooting for resolution of customer issues. Provides advanced technical assistance for sales activities
+ Conduct Technical Reviews with Area's in the Zone to ensure projects will meet the intent of the specifications and scope of work to reduce our Risk
+ Participate in Area Cost Reviews, including reviewing materials, labor, and design
+ Work with Estimating & Engineering Teams to align estimating and design requirements
+ Identify training needs for Operations personnel
+ Coach Sprinkler Fitters & Inspectors on installation, repair and inspection requirements
+ Provide on-site support as needed to train Sales & Operations on initial site walk-through's, provide guidance on installation challenges, confirm project plan, & meet with subcontractors.
+ Work with PM's on methods for managing Sprinkler projects
+ Train on the required use of inspection softwareas it pertains to fire sprinkler and related equipment
+ Work with Area's to adhere to safety policies and corporate vehicle use guidelines while driving growth initiatives
+ Support OM's & Supervisors who do not have a Sprinkler background
+ Ensure proper licensing is in place for each Area
+ Maintains technical knowledge on products and toolsthrough continuing education initiatives
**You will make an impact with these qualifications:**  
Basic Qualifications:  
+ High school diploma or state-recognized GED
+ 8+ years of experience or a combination of installing, servicing, inspecting, design or selling firesprinkler systems and related equipment
+ NICET Level II certification in Inspection and Testing of Water Based Fire Suppression or NICET Level II in Water-Based Systems Layout
+ On-the-job experience with Installing or servicing electronic control systems
+ Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the design of large, standard jobs and the role that tools, products, and practices play in that design
+ Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of industry engineering fundamentals and business operations
+ Experience with Microsoft Office and engineering software applications
+ Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
+ Ability to travel 50% - Midwest Zone

This role will partner closely with stakeholders from across Uber to implement advanced targeting, predictive analytics, generative AI, and autonomous agents to transform how Uber connects with audiences.
**What You'll Do**
1. You will help lead the media technology and data strategy for Uber Brand marketing globally
2. Evaluate and execute the effective use of Marketing AI technologies
3. Manage our external media agency technology team to deliver best-in-class media targeting, optimization and reporting
4. Ensure all of our media and marketing targeting approaches are fully privacy-compliant
5. Develop deep ad technology partnerships to ensure Uber has access to best-in-class targeting and media reporting capabilities
6. Partner with regional marketing teams to deliver meaningful impact in local campaigns through advanced targeting and personalization at scale
7. Constantly test new targeting techniques and media technology features
8. Collaborate closely with our in-house Performance Marketing team to ensure brand media strategies take a consumer-first approach
9. Act as a trusted partner and in-house subject matter expert on data, targeting and AI to the broader organization, providing thought leadership and a clear vision for media technology
10. Partner with Uber's in-house Data Science team to create a robust media technology testing roadmap
**Basic Qualifications**
+ 10+ years of media technology experience at an agency, consultancy or brand
+ Bachelors Degree in an aligning field
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Hands-on experience with ad serving, programmatic, social media buying platforms and applying ML, GenAI and predictive modelling to campaigns
+ Technical knowledge of data clean rooms and their use within marketing
+ Strong knowledge of consumer privacy and data compliance regulations
+ A track record of designing robust marketing tests and experiments
+ Experience with media measurement and reporting methodologies, including geo-holdouts, brand lift studies, attention and engagement metrics
+ Deep understanding of audience segmentation, data strategy, and AI model training for marketing purposes.
+ Experience in using first and third-party data sources to enhance large-scale marketing campaigns
+ History of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
+ Highly numerate and analytical mindset
+ The ability to manage and prioritise a large number of requests and projects at once
+ Effectively collaborate with team members at all levels in a global matrixed organization
+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver technical information to senior stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner
+ A strong bias toward action with a solution-driven mindset
+ Existing relationships with major ad technology partners
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$203,000 per year - USD$25,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD 203,000 per year - USD 225,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
