ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads process design and development activities for new programs.
  • Identifies and lead productivity improvements through process engineering, maintenance, and technicians.
  • Productivity improvements focused on equipment OEE, transfer efficiency, machine utilization, line density and throughput.
  • Provide support for design reviews and design for manufacturability.
  • Establishes and follow best practice in global surface preparation standards.
  • Creates and issues Statement of Work (SOW) for RFQs.
  • Oversee and manage sourcing of surface preparations processing equipment, validation, and launch.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in surface preparation technologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
  • Identify and read across technology from other industries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must understand and be able to implement changes to mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.

EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree, master's degree preferred, in chemical or materials science with five plus years of related experience. Ten-Fifteen plus years experienced in surface preparation, coating applications, grit blasting, and phosphate relevant experience is acceptable over degree.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

College advanced level math skills

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Software

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. **Your role and responsibilities**
The Technology Expert Labs Services Offerings Leader is a strategic role responsible for driving growth and revenue for Services Offerings across IBM Software and Infrastructure. In order to scale, Technology Expert Labs wants to grow sales of repeatable, pre-scoped deliverables from 7% to 50% of the our total revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead definition and implementation of a consistent strategy and framework for IBM Software and Infrastructure Services Offerings
- Manage the end-to-end development and tracking of Services Offerings that resonate with the market and drive growth and revenue
- Develop and manage processes to continually assess and improve Services Offerings
- Partner with sales, finance and legal teams to define transaction methods for Services Offerings that map to customer and services delivery requirements such as milestone based revenue recognition
