Insight global is hiring for multiple hybrid UX Designers for a fortune 500 client local to Stamford, CT. In this position you will be designing and creating wireframes through Figma, as well as develop and test prototypes to validate solutions. We are looking for an induvial with a very collaborative and problem solving mindset. Prior experience in an e-commerce company is required.
Much of this work is done on small agile teams consisting of an engineer and product manager, although there are also a large individual component where you will be working heads down. Description
An UX Designer, who will play a crucial role in the design and development of scientific and engineering products. Responsible for understanding user needs, creating wireframes and prototypes, conducting user research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience. This role will need to be able to work on multiple projects at once.
- Design solutions for features going into our products. Iterate on the designs with the team and validate them in coordination with our user researchers. Communicate those designs through sketches, wireframes, or prototypes as needed.
- Review existing user research and designs for the products and understand the strategic direction for the capabilities. Integrate with the product team. Attend usability tests for active designs and product testing.
- Gather evidence of business value for designs and document the value for UX stakeholders. Identify user research gaps and formulate a strategy with stakeholders and the research team.
- Engage with users (globally) to build a strategy for how to design for gaps in knowledge and understanding of technology as well as how to present uncertainty in optimization solutions.
- Collaborate with other designers to critique designs, build on standards, and contribute to the upstream technical design language.
