We are seeking a Senior Search Engine Optimizaion (SEO) manager with strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal, and persuasive skills to join our team so that it can deliver transformational SEO strategies to variety of internal leaders and departments. Your colleagues will consist of full-time employees, contractors, and an outsourced agency that have worked together to produce insightful data analysis about our global customers and competitors.
In this role, you will work with many stakeholders, colleagues, and leaders to help develop and execute an SEO strategy for at least one specific line of business or customer solution area (CSA) from the Microsoft commercial Marketing portfolio. One day you might be presenting findings on our competitors' SEO tactics and the next you might be writing a content brief for a new webpage. Your work will help drive the web traffic and visibility for our brands, products, and services.

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven AI & Generative-Engine Optimization (GEO) Specialist to craft GEO strategies to win visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and the next generation of AI-powered discovery engines across Caterpillar's global digital ecosystem.
This role will be responsible for ensuring our websites are search and AI generative engine-friendly, scalable, and aligned with SEO & GEO best practices across multiple websites, regions and business units. You will collaborate with developers, user experience, accessibility, digital strategy, content and analytics teams to improve organic visibility, site performance, and user experience across a highly matrixed organization.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Research and implement GEO strategies based on data, customer and competitive insights to improve visibility and market presence of Caterpillar brands, products and services in ChatGPT, Gemini, and similar AI engines across Caterpillar web properties.
+ Stay ahead of LLM-powered search evolution and new advancements in the marketplace around tools, trends and emerging opportunities and communicate to leaders and peers.
+ Lead implementation of advanced schema / structured data (e.g., WebPage, Product, HowTo, FAQ, Organization, etc.) to reinforce entity connections and guide LLM crawl behavior.
+ Build and refine Caterpillar's entity graph using structured data, internal linking, and external signals.
+ Craft content strategies that are aligned with how LLMs interpret and surface information.
+ Analyze GEO performance, identifying key trends, reporting on impact, and spotting opportunities to scale initiatives.
+ Document GEO best practices and educate business partners on how to implement tactics or strategies.
+ Partner with digital strategists, UX, development teams and business partners to co-create LLM-friendly pages and templates.
+ Collaborate with developers to ensure proper markup, canonicalization, and AI-readiness across key templates and pages.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager ('SSM') plays a pivotal role in driving procurement strategy, optimizing costs, and managing supplier relationships. The SSM will be responsible for sourcing indirect solutions and/or services for The Home Depot, including, but not limited to, Marketing categories (Advertising & Media, Creative Services, Events & Sponsorships, Public Relations, MarTech), as well as Online related categories (Website Development & Maintenance, E-Commerce platforms, Analytics & Optimization). Additionally, this role may also support Corporate Services categories (Facilities Mgmt., Office Equipment & Services). The SSM will lead a project team comprised of several stakeholders through various sourcing steps, to ensure the best outcome for The Home Depot at the end of the project.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ 25% Negotiate for products and services within the assigned product category ensuring the lowest possible price.
+ 25% Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to assigned categories. Work cross functionally to improve and streamline processes.
+ Initiate quality vendor relationships to support new and ongoing product and services sourcing needs.
+ 5% Evaluate vendor relationships and terminate if necessary.
+ 20% Work with stores and functional areas to best determine products and services to be sourced. Manage the vendor and resolve issues regarding product quality, delivery, etc.
+ 5% Work with purchasing operations to ensure orderly transition from initial deal to ongoing purchasing of products and services. Ensure accuracy and delivery of orders so that clients for the product group are able to complete projects and meet the Company's needs.
