Day Shift -Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & Every other Wednesday 6am - 6pm
Job Brief: We are seeking a skilled Level 3 Data Center Technician to join our IT team. The Level 3 Data Center Technician's responsibilities include maintaining the data center's IT system, troubleshooting issues, performing server installations, and ensuring uninterrupted access to network services. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong understanding of network infrastructure and data center operations. Familiarity with server installations and network updates is also required. The candidate should also have GPU experience and 4 plus years in a hyperscale environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks listed under Level 1 and Level 2 as needed.
o Move servers and switches to required destinations for installation.
o Inspect servers and switches to ensure they are not damaged.
o Install servers and switches and cable them according to provided wire maps.
o Ensure all cables are bundled neatly and in accordance with standards.
o Double-check with network admins to ensure everything is cabled correctly and all connections are up.
o Install additional components needed (NIC, Drive, Memory).
o Assist in unboxing and prepping servers as needed.
o Audit servers and consumables.
o Troubleshoot a variety of servers and isolate the problem that the server is encountering.
o Order replacement parts and install them in servers and ship back the defective part to their respective vendors.
o Update firmware on servers to ensure the latest version is installed.
o Configure IP addresses and default login credentials on servers.
o Assist network admins on any issues they are having with a server, including replacing broken or damaged cables, re-routing cables to different ports on the server or switch, replacing optics on both server and switch ports, changing out parts, and installing upgraded versions of those parts in servers.
o Temporarily rack and stack a server or switch in a cabinet and cable it so the network admin can remotely log in and run configurations on the device.
o Assist network admins who reach out requesting specific assistance with servers or switches.
o Deploy and configure GPUs in servers, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
o Perform break-fix tasks, including troubleshooting and replacing faulty components.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support and resolution of tickets.
- Serve as the initial contact/liaison between team members and management.
- Prioritize and manage workload across the team.
- Review build documentation before projects and validate any questions or concerns.
- Direct build activities related to data center operations.
- Ensure projects are aligned with data center standards.
- Provide thought leadership to aid with growth across the program.
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects with a high degree of stress within the work environment.
- Monitor project deadlines and provide status updates to project managers.
- Ensure compliance with safety measures and data center standards.
- Deploy and configure GPUs in servers, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
- Perform break-fix tasks related to GPUs, including troubleshooting and replacing faulty components.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
- Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Flexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds when necessary.
- Ability to safely climb ladders when necessary.
- Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly when necessary.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for extended periods without loss or reduction of productivity.
- 4 plus years of experience in a hyperscale environment

Job Title: System Administrator
Location: Hoover, AL (Primarily On-Site)
Position Overview:
The System Administrator will manage and support the IT systems, provide technical assistance to 50 + users, and play a key role in establishing IT processes and documentation. This role will also include executive support and opportunities to shape the company's IT foundation for future growth.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support for users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related infrastructure.

  • Support IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and security systems.

  • Develop and implement IT processes, procedures, and documentation to improve efficiency and consistency.

  • Assist with executive-level technology needs and troubleshooting.

  • Collaborate with leadership and external vendors to ensure smooth IT operations.

  • Identify opportunities for technology improvements and contribute to IT strategy.
Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of IT experience, with strong background in system administration and helpdesk support.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows Server).

  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure (servers, networks, backups, security).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a small IT team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to support users across all levels of the organization.

  • Financial services or banking experience a plus, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:

  • Direct-hire, full-time position.

  • Competitive salary: $70,000 - $85,000 (based on experience).

Location: Tulsa 74134


Schedule: onsite 5 days a week


On Call Schedule: This position maintains on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for all critical infrastructure we are responsible for within the company. This entails one week of a secondary support role and one week of a primary support role once every 6-8 weeks.


The Systems Administrator is responsible for the efficient provisioning, configuration, operation, and ongoing maintenance of hardware, software, and supporting infrastructure. This role ensures that all systems—including hardware, operating systems, applications, and associated procedures—align with the organization's standards and values. Key technologies supported include, but are not limited to, VMware, Microsoft Windows Server, SharePoint, Active Directory, IIS, Cohesity, System Center, and various third-party platforms.


Needs:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience with systems design/administration.
  • 2+ years’ experience managing VMWare, Storage (Pure experience is a plus), Backup and HA principals, Fibre Channel (Brocade is a plus).
  • Requirement of 1-3 years knowledge of managing Azure and container products.
  • Through understanding of network and server concepts including security, active directory, virtualization, and server operating systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting computer hardware/software related problems.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
  • Skills include day-to-day server & systems administration and the management of Active Directory to ensure performance and high availability of systems and services.
  • Diagnostic/troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, PC and server hardware.
  • Must have strong oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to take the initiative and to work with minimal supervision.


Preferred:

  • 4-year College degree in a technology related field.
  • Citrix, IBM AS/400 Microsoft SQL Server, Cohesity, and UNIX.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work with junior personnel during projects and in day-to-day operations.
  • Must be able to take the initiative and to work without direct supervision.


Duties:

Systems Administration – 55%

  • Develop and maintain procedures for system installation and configuration.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of technical standards.
  • Conduct daily system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes; review system and application logs.
  • Generate periodic performance reports to support capacity planning.
  • Regularly apply operating system patches and upgrades; update administrative tools and utilities; configure and deploy new services as needed.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization; configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.


Problem Management – 35%

  • Provide second-level support for server and system issues.
  • Analyze problems and document resolutions to ensure timely and effective issue management.


Project Collaboration – 5%

  • Work independently with project teams, including management and developers, to assess technical needs.
  • Recommend and implement appropriate server and storage solutions to support project requirements.


Backup and Recovery – 5%

  • Execute daily backup operations, ensuring successful backup of all required file systems and system data.
  • Manage recovery media, including creation, recycling, and off-site storage.
  • Repair and recover systems from hardware or software failures, coordinating communication with affected users.

This role focuses primarily on proactive workstreams, including client audits, technology roadmaps, and best practice implementation while also handling high-level reactive technical issues. The TOS Lead Consulting Engineer collaborates with various teams to ensure client satisfaction, minimize service disruptions, and enhance operational efficiency. This position is designed to reduce reactive service ticket volume, ensure client satisfaction, and support exceptional service delivery within NetGain Technologies’ managed services client base.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct proactive onsite visits with clients to assess and align their technology with NetGain’s standards and best practices.
  • Develop IT roadmaps and process technical audits for consultive clients.
  • Provide budgetary estimates in accordance with IT roadmaps.
  • Handle high-level reactive technical issues remotely and onsite as required.
