The Duquesne Club is looking for a la carte servers to work Breakfast and Lunch. One would need to be flexible with scheduled shifts, based on business, Monday through Saturday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm.

As a Server, you will be responsible for welcoming members by name, taking orders accurately, delivering orders promptly and efficiently, and addressing any member inquiries or concerns. You will also collaborate with the service staff/management team to ensure smooth operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and service. Teamwork is essential for success.
Your responsibilities as a Server include:
•Serving members and guests according to Club service standards.
•Reports to the designated Club location and receives assignments from management.
•Inspect dining rooms before guest arrival to ensure proper setup.
•Utilizing the order-taking method according to Duquesne Club Standards.
•Assist guests with menu inquiries.
•Knowledge of course timing and appropriate service techniques.
•Removing and transporting food items/plates from the kitchen/pantry to the dining area.
•Perform opening/closing procedures.
•Address any complaints promptly with management.
•Ensuring all safety measures are in place and follow workers compensation guidelines.
•Attending Club meetings/training as assigned.
•Observing grooming and personal hygiene standards.
•Being respectful of other employees and assisting when requested.
•May be required to perform any related duty as directed by management.
Special qualifications for this role include:
•Self-motivation to work independently and unsupervised.
•Knowledge of fine dining procedures, etiquette, social customs, POS systems.
•Ability to serve multiple tables/groups simultaneously.
•Physical strength and capability to carry a tray elevated at shoulder level weighing an average of 35lbs. (to a maximum of ten dinners). Physical ability to stand/walk for the entire shift, as well as bend, stoop, climb and reach.
•Excellent coordination and manual dexterity.
•Ability to follow directions and organizational skills to work rapidly when busy.
•A willingness to actively listen and respond to requests professionally.
•Commitment to adhering to Club policies and procedures.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact
professionally with guests and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Previous experience as a server at an upscale dining establishment.

POSITION SUMMARY
Servers ensure Fans receive an exceptional dining experience through providing service in a timely and proficient manner, while being attentive to the Fans needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Provides warm and friendly service to each Fan from the initial greet to the end of their Primanti Bros. experience.
2. Possesses proficient knowledge of the menu and able to explain choices to the Fan, informs them of current food & beverage promotions and answer any questions.
3. Upsells and suggestive sells menu items, informs Fans of special promotions, Happy Hours specials, or any upcoming Events.
4. Writes food and beverage orders accurately on paper and quickly enters into POS system in proper sequence, while timing the ringing of appetizers, kids' meals, entrees, all per Fans request.
5. Delivers the order or follows up after the delivery by the Service Assistant, making sure that the order is excellent in every way.
6. Practices pre-bussing as you go and maintains table appearance, removes clutter, checks drink levels.
7. Follows alcohol awareness procedures for identifying age, preventing intoxication, and dealing with potentially intoxicated Fans.
8. Collects payment for drinks and/or food served following our established accounting procedures for all transactions.
9. Keeps station clean, sets up and takes down station tables appropriately.
10. Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures throughout shift.
11. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all Players to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
12. Completes the opening, shift change, and closing checklists found in multi-colored wall units as well as weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
13. Performs other duties as needed per Coach request.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Ability to write and read the English language.
2. Good communication skills, friendly, and people oriented.
3. Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, able to multitask.
4. Possesses basic math skills.
5. Completes and passes the RAMP and/or TIPS certification per state requirements, if applicable.
