Position Title: Food Service Cook
Reports to: Kitchen Manager(s), Sous Chef(s) and Executive Chef
Responsibilities- Perform the steps of SSA EXTRA Guest Service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client.
- Supports restaurant prep (BOH and line) for daily operation.
- Meets daily quick service, food service, safety and quality, availability, merchandising and guest service standards.
- Ensures proper food quantities are set for daily and ongoing service.
- Participates in safety logs including food temperatures, rotation and waste as necessary.
- Ensures safe food handling is maintained.
- Ensures proper uniform, hygiene, hand-washing and glove use with self.
- Maintains a SSAfe work environment by abiding to all SSAFETY rules.
- Follows through daily prep and items lists, as assigned.
- Actively helps to support operation in assigned role, supporting holes as necessary.
- Actively and efficiently responds to guest and client feedback, with report to the supervisor to ensure that any potential complaints are mitigated against further occurrence.
- Communicates up to the Restaurant Supervisor and/or Food Operations Manager in regard to any issues seen with daily service or quality.
- Remains knowledgeable of all menu items, prices and specials for sharing with guests.
- Assists with dishwashing as necessary.
- Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.
- Maintains a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Uphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized.

Qualifications
- Requires at least 1 year of experience
- Requires at least 1 year of experience in a management role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
- Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Food Service Manager to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire food service portfolio for the customer to include food inventory and ordering, food preparation, food quality and safety, and the services associated with providing the food to the customers.
- Manage a team consisting of General Managers, chefs, and food service personnel.
- Manage and develop this team of food service professionals and supervise team regarding production, quality and control.
- Work with your team of General Managers to plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities.
- Ensure consistent food quality and consistent operations across multiple facilities.
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards for the food service to include adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee and assist in the planning for catering and events requiring food service.
- Interact with the client and the individual food customers to ensure expectations for quality, presentation, and cost are being met and to identify areas for continual improvement.
- Identify innovative ways to increase efficiency, while improving customer satisfaction and reducing costs.
Qualifications
Required:
- Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
- 5 years supervisory experience in food service industry of experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- ServSafe Manager Certification or a professional certification in Food Safety from ServSafe, the Certified Food Safety Manager National Registry of Food Safety Professionals, or Prometric
- More than five years of experience in a similar management role for food service operations.
- Diverse knowledge of food and catering services and trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Demonstrated experience managing all aspects of food service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Associates degree in Culinary Arts
Basic Compensation:

Work with your team of General Managers to plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities. Ensure consistent food quality and consistent operations across multiple facilities. Ensure safety and sanitation standards for the food service to include adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Oversee and assist in the planning for catering and events requiring food service. Interact with the client and the individual food customers to ensure expectations for quality, presentation, and cost are being met and to identify areas for continual improvement. Identify innovative ways to increase efficiency, while improving customer satisfaction and reducing costs. Diverse knowledge of food and catering services and trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation Demonstrated experience managing all aspects of food service. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Position Summary
Foodservice Director - Manages the foodservice program in a single site, provides leadership, support and guidance to ensure that food quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met, including following facility menus, current applicable federal, state, and local standards, in line with our established policies and procedures to ensure that quality dining services are provided at all times.
Qualifications
Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily. An associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality is preferred. Must show proof of or successfully complete an approved Conference of Food Protection (CFP) Food Protection Manager (FPM) course within the first 14 days of employment. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) course participant, or certification as required by State & County law. Two years of experience in quantity food production/service, dining/nutrition, and personnel supervision experience are desired. Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods. Must live in the service area.
