We are actively seeking a Welding Team Member to work on the production line. This position involves being a Machine Operator to a welding machine by placing automotive parts into a machine to be welded automatically. No welding experience is necessary.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform process evaluation by completing forms prior to shift or operating machines
- Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces into holding fixtures to bond, heat-treat, or solder fabricated metal components
- Load workpieces into welding machines
- Start, monitor, and adjust robotic welding production lines
- Turn and press buttons to start welding machines
- Install appropriate electrode size and type, tips, and welding rod or wire
- Remove part from welding machines and place final products into containers
- Record operational information on specified production reports
- Test and visually inspect completed workpieces for defects or quality issues, using leak tests
- Use hand tools, such as hammers, chisels, wrenches, and wire cutters
- Notify Maintenance or Team Leader to correct problems with machine operation
- Follow written instructions from Quality Control to ensure conformance with specifications
- Notify Quality Control of any defective parts
- Follow standard work instructions
- Perform other duties assigned

Manage all Production personnel working in the auger and main packaging rooms.
Fill product containers according to BPRs and cGMPs.
Responsible for smooth operation of their assigned production line.
Ensure all members of the team follow company policies and safety regulations are being enforced to meet safety compliance.
Complete all tasks associated with Redzone production reporting.
Complete all quality checks associated with the line in Redzone.
Troubleshoot equipment.
Motivate team members to meet production deadlines and goals.
Train new workers on their station in the line.
Monitor production progress and track it.
Identify containers, vessels and processing equipment with the appropriate information to indicate the product being contained or processed.
Batch production records ensure the proper in process material is in the correct room by checking the tags on the drums and scanning the batches into the BPRs.
Periodically, check if all parameters are within the specified range as per batch record and notify Production Manager and/or QA for any problems.
Must be able to document process as per batch record formula and SOPs.
Clean equipment and fill out equipment logbooks.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma required. 1-3 years of experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing of oral solid dosage products in a GMP environment.
In depth, hands-on experience with the following equipment desired: Bosch 1500, Bosh GKF 400, and Semi-Encapsulator CFSA02, tablet compression machines Stokes Model 515 DS3, Auger Filler and controls systems associated with these equipment trains.
This person must be able to maintain equipment following appropriate SOPs in place; capacity to record and maintain good records of in-process checks; familiar with machine operations procedures and troubleshooting of assigned equipment.
Skills:
Possesses excellent written/verbal skills. Is effective managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring a high degree of initiative and an ability to work with minimal supervision.
