The Shipping Agent helps to maintain an efficient supply chain by preparing shipments, processing and packaging deliverable hardware, and ensuring on-time deliveries. This position interacts frequently with engineers, machinists, vendors and customers in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment. Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Coordinates shipments by preparing and processing shipping requests
• Ensures all shipments are accurate, verified and correctly documented
• Arranges shipments with carriers, obtains required approvals, prepares and packages shipments, updates shipment status daily
• Works closely with the Quality team to obtain proper documentation as needed
• Coordinates daily with national carriers, freight and local couriers for all deliveries and pick-up and drop-off schedules
• Interacts with customers and vendors to confirm and obtain appropriate documentation and approvals
• Works with engineering staff to ensure proper and safe hardware packaging
• Packages, wraps, band and palletizes shipments as needed, helps to ensure organization of shipping area and supplies
• Assists with other Warehouse departments when needed
• Drives company vehicles as needed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Required Education: High School Diploma
• Strong computer skills (MS Office and Outlook)
• Epicor ERP experience a plus
• Must have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Must hold or be able to obtain Hazardous Materials Endorsement on CDL
• Must hold or be able to obtain certifications for Dangerous Goods shipping and handling
• Experience in office administration, warehouse or supply chain roles preferred
• Fork lift certification and experience preferred

Shipping Coordinator & Logistics Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:
Perform duties related to the processing of hardware for client orders and inventory on hand. Duties include, but are not limited to, receiving incoming packages, verification and entry into inventory, stocking, kitting and shipping, final order review, and securing shipments prior to courier pick up. Duties also include tasks related directly to support of Recycling, Accessories, and Depot operations, as well as assisting the Shipping Lead(s) and Logistics Manager with assigned tasks.
What's a typical day as a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator? You'll be:
+ Assisting Shipping Lead and Logistics Supervisor with assigned tasks
+ Processing and tracking incoming shipments.
+ Receiving packages and documenting them thoroughly.
+ Matching incoming devices to open orders.
+ Equipping (kitting) and provisioning devices as required.
+ Performing the final order review of packages, securing until courier pick up
+ Recording all data for outbound shipments.
+ Processing shipments timely to achieve client service level agreements (SLA).
+ Managing the inventory of devices and accessories. To include regular physical inventories, proper stocking and removal of hardware and security of assets.
+ Processing return orders from clients.
+ Assisting with processing hardware for Recycling, Accessories, and Depot operations.
+ Providing support to cross-functionally to Helpdesk, Logistics, and Project Management teams.
+ Specializing in receiving inbound (receiving and documenting) and exporting outbound shipments (final order review and documenting).
+ Operating with integrity and maintaining security of assets and information.

Primary Responsibility :

Coordinates import, export, customs, and shipping activities for the department.

What You'll Do :

• Tracks containers in the port system by logging on to the Port Authority tracking system. Documents any vessel delays, 'Full-Out/Empty-In' container tracking, and verifies per diem in Container History.
• Coordinates fumigation with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and other agencies or companies by communicating daily inspection needs and providing required documentation (Fumigation log, BOL, EAN, PTT, etc.).
• Tracks cold re-treatment or continuation of cold treatment with USDA and internally, investigates variances, and resolves or reports to appropriate individual(s) as necessary.
• Coordinates inspections with CBP.

What Experience and Education You Need :

• Three (3) years warehouse and/or shipping/receiving experience. Import-export experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is responsible for initiating the timely and cost-effective transportation of product, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities

**About the Role**

Responsibilities:
- Follow indications contained in the Internal Work Regulations regarding safety, when inspecting material, take care of the equipment, materials, facilities, and other resources owned by the company since they belong to the client
- Perform its activities according to the method, instructions and specifications authorized and updated applicable to the Customs Department.
- Maintain close communication with our customers to know the new materials and products, for the timely requirement of import permits.
- Report any damage/missing to Supervisors and clients. Maintain quality standards.
- It is responsible for supporting activities such as Product Inventories by client, Inventories of Raw Materials, quality assurance, as well as administrative activities of the department.
- It is responsible for developing, controlling, and continuously monitoring the project assigned to it for the improvement of internal customs processes.
- Keep track of incident reports related to quality discrepancies.
- Verify custom paperwork accuracy.
- Trailer number verification, skid quantity, trailer seal, and dispatch.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bilingual
