**Responsibilities**

+ Utilize carrier websites and rate shopping software to get quotes on outbound freight.
+ Organize orders to be picked along with any customer-specific labeling requirements.
+ Process shipped orders through the company ERP system to be invoiced.

Chart's manufacturing and admin group is crucial to building our products on time and of the highest quality to our customers. Work towards production goals in the sites manufacturing departments through appropriate management of people and equipment, working in conjunction with supporting roles, departments, and site leadership. Primary aspects of role: people management and development; maintain a safe work environment and safety culture; guide teams to meet and exceed customer expectations; track performance for KPI's and metrics; understand and manage immediate and future customer needs; support problem solving; and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
**_What Will You Do?_**
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all shipments for accurate and on time delivery of CPI products.
+ Coordinate and execute all shipments for CPI Stafford.
+ Assist with shipping/freight estimation and provide expertise for shipping related questions.
+ Prepare shipping documents for various carriers in accordance with export controls/compliance requirements.
+ Manage all aspects of tracking shipments to ensure shipment is moving as scheduled.
+ Resolve issues with couriers, including courier portal, updates, and changes.
+ Prepare all required paperwork correctly and completely for domestic and international shipments.
+ Schedule shipments with carriers as required by customer routings.
+ Communicate and coordinate special packaging requirements, such as crating, as needed.
+ Cross train and support the CPI Stafford shipping team.
+ Review sales order requirements for current, upcoming, and past due orders.
+ Maintain accurate traceability for all records created during shipment of products.
+ Collaborate efficiently with the customer service and sales team, and production supervisors for shipment inquiries.
+ Actively participate in continuous improvement.
+ Complete required reports and logs to maintain accurate order and shipment updates.
+ Adhere to all EHS standards and compliance with company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require._**
- Indoor/Outdoor Environment
- Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs
- Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling
