**Job Description**
- Process bills of lading, purchase orders, and all documentation necessary to complete a Domestic customer's order
- Follow appropriate procedures which are DOT, IATA and IMO requirements for transportation of hazardous materials.
- Retrieve product SDS Sheets and Certifications from the computer and send to customers.
- Interpret instructions derived from the shipper and various government bodies.
- Prepare and complete Export documentation as required for business units by completing templates and processing them appropriately. Including, but not limited to: Invoice, Packing List, Shipper's Letter of instruction, Wood Certification and Dangerous Goods Forms.
- Obtain quotes and negotiate rates: air, ground, and ocean shipments
- Analyze and decide best carrier to be used for shipping products.
- Call or Email carriers and schedule shipment of goods.
- Expedite Export shipments by maintaining positive relationships with regulatory freight forwarders, vendors and customer service department through oral and written communications regarding regulatory pathways, compliance test requirements, clarification, and follow-up of submissions under review.
- Make shipping arrangements by calling or emailing freight forwarder and detailing INCO Terms, shipping weights, dimensions, classification of material and ship to and ship from addresses.
- Contribute to Import/Export Custom Compliance audits and meetings.
- Resolve freight and/or trucking claims.
- Implement the most recent editions of all shipping documents.
- Learn, understand, and implement UPS procedures.
- Verify UPS package regulation.
- Assist the Shipping Manager/Supervisor to drive continuous improvement to the Safety Risk Assessment.

- Computer literate - high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel)

The **Shipping Coordinator** will diligently work on international shipments, dealing with both internal (Production, Service, Sales, etc.) and external customers (Carriers, Freight Forwarders, Brokers, Consignees, etc.), while also fulfilling U.S. Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR) requirements.
**Primary Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Effectively coordinate with the cross-functional business groups to process international shipments per the Global Trade Compliance (GTC) international shipping process.
+ Prepare all required export documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
+ Coordinate and transmit routing instructions to freight forwarders/brokers and foreign entities as needed.
+ Work with freight forwarders to facilitate export procedures and resolve any problems that may arise.
+ Maintain weekly status report to manage export holds and shipment status as needed.
+ Serve as internal resource for logistics questions, scheduling, and primary contact for problem solving for shipping related issues.
+ Process, review, and approve EEI filings to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
+ Maintain and organize all required documentation per Global Trade Compliance (GTC) recordkeeping requirements.
+ Ensure proper use and administration of ITAR/EAR authorizations, exemptions, and exceptions in accordance with the Global Trade Compliance (GTC) policies and procedures.
+ Maintain and track status on Carnets, Temporary Import Bonds, and DSP-73's.
+ Audit international shipments as required per Global Trade Compliance (GTC) policy.
+ Provide support to special projects, as needed.
+ Take lead on business communication, escalation, compliance questions.
**Job Qualifications:**
+ Degree in International Business or associated discipline AND at least 2 year's experience; OR
+ Equivalent experience and 2-4 years international and domestic traffic or logistics experience.
+ Familiarity with air, ocean, and ground-based logistics.
+ Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, detail-oriented with a strong bias for action.
+ Proven attention to detail with excellent analytical, problem solving, and personal organization skills.

SHIPPING CLERK
The Shipping Clerk is responsible to bill out trucks after loaded and checked for accuracy according to customer order.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
1. To check the loads after finished by Loaders to make sure it is complete according to customer order.
2. Enter necessary data into computer to print bills for truck drivers.
3. Enter data for tub count into computer (tubs sent and tubs received)
4. Make USDA labels as needed
5. Monitor number of boxes scanned by loaders to make sure all are done.
6. Assist in loading as needed.
7. Minor repair of computer/printer or contact Business Systems Technician for assistance.
8. Gather and organize orders prior to start of shift.

**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary**
Responsible for providing support to the Warehouse Manager on a daily basis for shipping/receiving of goods and raw materials including scheduling shipments to our customers and for the delivery of raw materials from suppliers/outside warehouse.
**Essential Functions**
+ Performs warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of products, parts, and/or materials.
+ Works with Shipping Manager, Production Manager, Shift Supervisors, and/or Customer Service Rep to effectively and efficiently move product to and from the manufacturing facility warehouse.
+ Loads, unloads, moves, or stores items according to predetermined guidelines.
+ Schedules deliveries based on the delivery date requested by the individual customer and coordinates with an approved group of carriers provided in the Calcrate System of JD Edwards.
+ Prepares and prints loads in the JD Edwards system.
+ Notifies carriers of any special handling requirements and verifies paperwork for all deliveries prior to assigning the driver a dock door. Once trailer is loaded, will process the driver's paperwork.
+ Responsible for receiving all-inbound freight and receiving it into the JD Edwards system.
+ Assures inventory accuracy and records integrity through cycle counting and auditing of all physical inventories.
+ Verify that all components of the sales order are present to be shipped
+ Completes BOM and other shipping documents to go with shipments
+ Maintain shipping documents for all outgoing and inter- facility transfers
+ Takes precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss, and reports any damage or lost product to Shipping/Warehouse Manager.
+ Responsible for notifying Quality Assurance and all other related personnel of any defect, damaged, or returned product as well as assisting in the coordination and isolation of the materials in question.
+ Responsible for maintaining the Food Safety Program (GMP)
+ Other duties as assigned

+ **Warehouse Material Handling** - 3-5 years of warehouse and/or material handling experience using RF bar code scanners preferred.
+ **Forklift certified** --- 1-3 years of forklift experience. Must be certified or capable of being certified.
+ **High school diploma or equivalent** .
