**Who will you be working with?**
You will be a key part of our Operations team and support our customers by effectively supporting the shipping and receiving function of our Arcola, IL facility.
**How will you make a difference?**
As a member of the Arcola Operations team, you will be responsible for all outbound shipments that leave our facility.
**What do we want to know about you?**
+ Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum of one year of relevant warehouse experience. A valid driver's license is also required.
+ Proficient in Forklift operation.
+ Proficient in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word & Excel
+ Experience in preparing and packing goods for shipment.
+ Ability to read, create and complete shipping documents.
+ Knowledge of inventory management and legal procedures of shipping materials.
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
**What will your typical day look like?**
+ Oversee the proper loading and handling of goods and materials.
+ In charge of shipping supplies and materials out of the storehouse.
+ Validating the shipping materials and goods with the packing slips/invoices to ascertain the goods being shipped.
+ Counting, sorting and weighing all outbound goods and authenticating the paperwork of the same in accord with the shipping requirements
+ Ensuring the completion of all paperwork relating to the shipped goods.
+ Inspecting and documenting any damaged goods or any other discrepancies and reporting the results to the supervisor.
+ Ensuring the proper handling and scheduling of trucks and/or freight companies to meet the expectations of the customer in the delivery of their goods.
+ Coordinating with the purchasing team and sales team for the shipping and/or pickup of supplies or goods.
+ Help monitor storehouse records, inventory and filing reports of discrepancies in quantities and damages to the supervisor.
+ Execute all safety procedures and standards with regard to the storage and receipt of goods.
+ Proposing suggestions to the supervisor with regard to the documentation, storage and procurement of goods.
+ Coordinate with co-workers of the organization for smoothly shipment of goods.
+ Keeping a record of all shipped goods and/or including freight charges on invoices.
+ Provides back-up assistance to the other warehouse personnel.
+ Manages cores list
+ Periodically needs to travel locally to pick up parts and miscellaneous items
**What about the physical demands of the job?**
+ Work is primarily light duty and requires the ability to regularly lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. This position is basically sedentary, and requires the use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
+ Office and shop setting subject to interruptions, moderate noise and other normal environmental conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Works under routine deadlines Work is primarily light duty and requires the ability to regularly lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds. This position requires the ability to sit, stand and walk unassisted. Requires the use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is required to talk and hear. Normal correctable vision is required.
The hourly rate for this role is in the range of $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

**Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:** $18 per hour
**Shifts Available: ** 9am - 5:30pm ; Monday - Friday
7am - 730 pm ; Friday - Sunday
10am - 630pm ; Monday - Friday

**What's a typical day as a Shipping Coordinator? You'll be:**
- Coordinating the movement of material in and out of the warehouse in alignment with Operations and Client SLAs.
- Performing routine data input related to warehouse inbound and outbound shipments.
- Identifying any shortages or overages and completing daily operations reports to ensure accuracy.

Now Hiring : Shipping Coordinator
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Compensation: $20 / Hourly
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, processing and recording a company's outgoing deliveries including merchandise, stock, materials and supplies in a warehouse environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming orders
- Assigns orders to warehouse pickers
- Monitors staging area to ensure all picked orders are complete
- Notify purchasing department of any inventory shortages
- Monitor warehouse entrance for will call orders
- Direct delivery drivers to proper receiving bays
- Create load sheets for the packers/shippers
- Create routing sheets for delivery drivers
- Ensures warehouse goals are met
- Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
- Packs warehouse orders as necessary
- Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked, packed, shipped and inventory is managed accurately
- Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Ability to Read, Analyze, and Interpret Documents such as Safety Rules, Operating Instructions, Procedures and Common Technical Manuals, and Purchase Orders
- Previous Experience Working in a Warehouse Preferred
- Experience Working with an RF Scanner Preferred
- Strong Attention to Detail; Ability to Lift Heavy Objects; Ability to Stay on Feet for Long Periods of Time
- Positive Attitude; Self-Motivated; Safety Conscious
- Ability to Work on Multiple Tasks in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Great Communication Skills; Ability to Work Well on a Team but Be Self-Motivated and Independent at Times
- Strong computer skills required
