**STATEMENT OF PURPOSE** **:** Pick, fill and ship sales orders for various Lighthouse Industries products with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency to meet the needs of our customers in a timely manner.
**SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:**
+ Pick, fill and ship sales orders for various Lighthouse Industries products.
+ Basic typing and computer skills are requiredas well as familiarity with sales order forms and other pertinent shipping documents.
+ Ability to ship products utilizing the UPS and FedEx computer software.
+ Assist in loading and unloading freight elevator and trucks.
+ Receive incoming shipments, process and verify incoming packing slips and accurately distribute incoming shipments.
+ Utilize and organize Shipping Department floor space to ensure that finished products are placed in designated areas.
+ Adhere to safety rules and procedures and provide a safe, clean and well-organized work environment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**SPECIFICATIONS:**
+ High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
+ One year of previous shipping experience preferred.
+ Ability to set priorities and work independently is required.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move pallets required on an intermittent basis.

Job Purpose: Position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor. Works effectively and efficiently in a warehouse environment to received and schedule shipping and freight operations, including developing a working knowledge of warehouse organization and creating proper and detailed shipping documentation. Works with the warehouse team to ensure customer satisfaction, accept and schedule customer orders to ensure customer satisfaction. This position will provide shipping support as required by personnel working in the Warehouse Department.

- Check in all drivers.
- Print all pertinent paper work for shipping.
- Coordinate with the dock and the drivers what door they will be loading product in.
- Insure all paperwork is properly signed by pick up driver.
- Close loads in the system.
- Coordinate with Customer Service Teams regarding special paperwork for certain orders such as: international, customers that prefer special BOL’s etc. Enter customer orders and scan / index documents as required.

The pay range for this position is $9.00 - 19.00/hr.
