**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This position will support the warehouse daily activities and assist support staff of the warehouse in Mickenney, TX.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**

- Handle all vendors that come to the warehouse to drop off parts and suppliers.
- Maintain & Clean Warehouse on a daily basis.
- Carry out safety related inspections and tasks related to warehouse equipment.
- Operate Forklift, Pallet jacks and be able to assist w/ heavy loading of parts once couriers arrive for their shifts.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
**Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent
**Required Work Experience:** 1-3 years in Warehouse setting, Must know how to operate a forklift and pallet jack
**Required Technical Skills:** Basic knowledge about computers and Microsoft programs, SAP preferred.
**Additional Requirements:**
+ Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
+ Knowledge of parts and materials related to the RMX Industry
+ Must be able to complete all daily tasks in a timely manner
+ Must be able to work in an environment with wide temperature ranges.
+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests

Adams Inc. is hiring an entry-level Warehouse/Shop Assistant who has an interest in exploring the Trades as a career!
Adams Inc. has been in the Elkhorn area for over 30-years, providing Electrical Contracting services to SE Wisconsin. Over the years we expanded our services to cover Plumbing, HVAC, and Home Backup Power solutions for our customers, in additional to Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Solar, and Smart Tech Electrical Services.
As a Warehouse/Shop Assistant, you will be the first line of customer support to the field and assist in the organization and cleanliness of the shop as well as the mobilization of materials, tools, and equipment. You will assist with incoming and outgoing shipments and loading and unloading products in an efficient and safe manner utilizing a forklift. Assist with the installation of products on job sites (as needed).
We offer a competitive entry-level pay for this role of $15 - $20 per hour, based on recent, relevant experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift as needed to move product in and around the warehouse/shop
- Prepare generators for installation (unboxing, installing cold weather kit and remote monitoring)
- Drive to job sites as needed to deliver parts and material
- Meet inspectors at job sites as a representative of Adams Inc.
- Assist with the installation of generator sets on job sites
- Assist with shop cleanliness
- Assist with shop organization, ensuring that the facility is cleaned and maintained properly
- Assist in the restocking of new and returning tools and equipment from jobsites
- Assist in organization and pulling material orders
- Assist with continual stock inventory
- Assist with Warranty Claims and Returns
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks
Minimum Education and Certification Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- Familiarity with operating a forklift is preferred
- Familiarity with common tools (socket wrench, power tools, etc.)
Requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Can interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Mathematical Skills:
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Language Skills:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Requires mastery of business English language skills to read, analyze, and interpret information, policies and procedures, and/or governmental regulations. Able to write reports and business correspondence.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The Employee often needs to sit, stand, walk, and use their hands for various tasks. The Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds of weight. Specific vision abilities this job requires include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
