THE PRACTICE:

Production & Operations Systems Engineering to enable Manufacturing Modernization with deep specialization in Execution systems (MES/ MOM), Automation, and Plant data models.
The Work:
+ Work with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into technical requirements
+ Suggest/evaluate system architecture options
+ Estimate and plan project work
+ Produce/review specifications
+ Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and vendors on configuration/development of system components
+ Workflow or program the solution components, configuration/development of solutions using Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and programming skills (such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, bootstrap, HTML5)
+ Prepare and execute test plans
+ Create and execute cutover plans
+ Help on training and change management activities

Job Requirements:

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Residence based role preferably located near a Bayer Crop Science site on the Mainland, USA.**
The primary responsibilities of this role, North America Manufacturing Systems Lead, are:
+ Execute key regional systems optimization/process improvement programs closely connected with plant operations;

+ Partner with Regional Processes Optimization Team;
+ Reliability, and Transformation teams to deliver improved process control and value to the organization;
+ Provides leadership, guidelines, priorities, professional and personal development to a group of regional professionals;
+ Supports manufacturing leadership with technical & leadership coaching during implementation of CI initiatives;

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering or related field with 8+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment **OR** Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of experience derived from continuous improvement or lean manufacturing.
+ Excellent analytical and problem solving (decision making) skills;
+ Collaborative team player; capable of working well with people across all hierarchies internally and externally, including leadership;
